I'm tryna get son, but don't want to give up too much

    A: Son+Konsa+5.5(recommendations open)
    B:Saliba+Nkunku+Luis diaz

I prefer A in the short term - Arsenal have tricky opening fixtures.

Re 5.5 - I like Bobb +$0.5 as a short term punt (we'll know more after the Charity Shield).

In your opinion - which combo scores more over the first few GW's (forget captain points as I have salah).

    A, Watkins, Palmer, Saka
    B, Haaland, Nkunku, Eze
    C, Haaland, Nkunka, Rashford

Have found my way to this:

    Robinson Andersen Munoz
    Palmer Jota Mbuemo Bobb
    Haaland Isak Havertz

    Henderson Nkunku Mykolenko Konsa

Not for me. Wouldn't fancy 2 Palace at the back (3 if you include your sub keeper) and too much spent on subs.

If not going with Salah, surely Son or Saka have to be considered?

      I like the Mbeumo pick.

Is Jacob Murphy worth looking at now do you think?

I think his competition is Almiron, who would be your choice around 5.5M - 6M mid.

Will pick one out of Summerville, Semenyo, Schade, Smith Rowe, Mavididi if I go the 5.5 route.

As things stand now, I think Murphy is likely to start ahead of Almiron and he's having a good pre-season (and also got some decent returns last season when considering his time on the pitch).

We're looking for a new right winger though, and also may look to accommodate both Barnes and Gordon in the starting XI by moving Gordon to the right.

Murphy might be good value but a slight gamble on how much he starts.

Ambitious for a Manchester United fan
I will choose Rashy and Bruno.
Bruno is already back for training, and he will be a solid choice for time and pen.
Rashy had a terrible 22/23 due to a back injury and didn't have much pre-season time. After missing the Euro, with a couple of pre-season games, he did look lively. I believe he will have 180+ for this season.

BUT SHOULD I use Onana ?  Thought gonna be better with yoro but 5mil for a GK with last season defender ? I have trust issue for this defence.

Nkunku is a no brainer for a world class player at 6.5m. Until he gets injured he will be in my team.

Nkunku 6 goals in 7 pre season starts since he joined Chelsea. (including last season pre-season tour)

3 goals in 6 pl games where he played more than 45 mins last season

87 G+A in 88 games in last 2 seasons in Germany (58 goals and 29 assists all compts)

I have absolutely no worries about him starting. might get early subs but he's Chelsea's marquee signing and he can play anywhere in the line be it striker, number 10 or on the wings

The difference in class between Nkunku and Jackson is ridiculous. Palmer and Nkunku will form a great partnership

Thoughts? Is he a lock in your team as well?

    1. COYS Down Under

I thought the same last season and started with him early on. Then he was injured and it didn’t work.

Between his injuries and Chelsea uncertainty I’m happy to wait and see.

My plan is to have another 6.5m mid so I can easily move sideward if he looks good. I’m a fan of early transfers in the first few gameweeks so I doubt I’ll be price out.

There’s no real benefit to getting on risks early. Especially here since he’s got City up first.

      1. HurriKane
        • 13 Years
        1 year, 7 months ago

Just because he got injured at the start doesn't mean it will definitely happen again.

The fixtures are great for chelsea and wouldnt be surprised if he gets an attacking return even against city. Against city few days back he looked sharp

I disagree with your statement of "there’s no real benefit to getting on risks early.", He's a world class player and if he scores in one of first two chelsea games and i assure you he'd rise in price so quickly and you would jump on immediately.

        1. x.jim.x
          • 11 Years

He's missed 61 games in the last 2 seasons - it's a pretty safe bet to say he will get injured again.

        i wonder why people overthink.

If he gets injured so be it. You can easily transfer him out for the early season bandwagon that will emerge.

6.5m for a world class striker is too good to turn down

It’s a stupid addition to the game no one will ever roll 5 transfers, they could have added more weekly transfers or changed the scoring and or subs to match the euro fantasy game was much better with more variables and more fun. This game has become boring with too many pundits and YouTubers having the same template team.

Yeah he looks good for sure and Konate hasn’t been the signing Liverpool were hoping for in terms of cementing his place alongside VVD. Slot is known for developing younger players and learning from Virgil will only improve his game and accelerate his development.

I think this is my favourite draft i've come up with so far...

    Areola (Turner)
    Gvardiol, Myko, Livramento (HB, Faes)
    Salah, Nkunku, Eze, CHO (Winks)
    Isak, Watkins, Haaland

Little bit light at the back but think it's worth it to cram the front 3 in....

Like it, feels like a very punchy draft considering the 3 up front so good work.

I'm not sure on Livra alongisde the 2 cheapies, but if he looks like playing then that's ok. Or if Guehi goes through can pivot to him.

I'm not convinced on the Eze love on here but that's juts personal preference
