Thoughts? Only concern is double Palace at the back… am aware it’s a top heavy team

    Henderson (4.0)
    Munoz Quansah Hall Davis Barco
    Salah Gordon Jota ESR Rogers
    Haaland Isak Solanke

    A. Nkunku + Andersen + Sangare
    B. ESR + Munoz + Rogers

the last player is 8th attacker

      B easily.

I'd just go Sangare anyway in B and save the 0.5m.

i can upgrade from Munoz to Porro if using the .5m. (and change my goalie to Henderson from Flekken)

        worth it?

          Just go Henderson + Munoz.

Everyone will have Henderson so you'd actually gain something from Palace cleanies with Munoz. That 0.5m can be banked or used somewhere else.

I used it on Solanke > Havertz for instance.

    Bench Boost.

    Thoughts?

    Raya, Henderson
    Trent, Saliba, Porro, Hall, Quansah
    Saka, Son, Jota, Gordon, CHO
    Isak (c) Solanke, Wood

WCGW2 to load up on City, Arsenal, Fulham, Liverpool as a core.

    Think it’s worth it?

Do you know what, I don’t think it’s worth it, as exciting as it looks, my GW1 team looks pretty sick.

I just played with a Bb with Haaland in & it feels pretty impossible to anything without a load of dregs.

It’s good, but not solid defensively imo. I agree, wait on Villa…they haven’t been looking great defensively this pre-season. However Maatsen GW3/4 onwards looks shrewd.

I'd be tempted to downgrade Porro to upgrade Pedro/Sangare to someone a bit more solid who you can start each week. Looks good though - done well to get premium defenders in with Haaland and Salah

    Repost from last article.

I don’t want to mess up any plans by throwing this out there but a team without Salah or Haaland actually looks really solid.

    Henderson (4.0)
    Gvardiol TAA Saliba (4.0 4.0)
    Palmer Saka Son Jota Eze
Isak (5.5 and 5.5 to rotate)

Surely, a captain rotation between Palmer, Saka, Son, Foden, and Isak can cover Haaland and Salah…

captain rotation just means missed points IMO (same for a rotating attacker = points on bench)

I have triple Arsenal at the moment. And I think it's likely to stay. Wolves at home is such a great opening fixture. 3 decent fixtures to start the season and the plan would be Saka > Foden/Palmer by GW3 and I also have the option of using Havertz as a cash cow down to a cheaper forward flavor of the week like Solanke, Muniz, Wood, Armstrong etc.

But I think if my read is correct, Havertz is going to be one of the best picks in the game annd I intend to hold onto him at least until first WC and yes through those 'tough' fixtures as well.

I think he gets 15+ goals this season and starts at CF for the majority of games. Obviously, we'll reassess at first WC window but the first 3 games are good enough that I'll start with double Arsenal attack as my differential and then decide from there.

Joining Saka, I've got both centre-backs. I have a system for resting them in those 2 tricky fixtures; otherwise they should be good for multiple cleanies.

I've had havertz for but the risk of jesus getting minutes up top like against Leverkusen spooked me into solanke instead. Obviously can still get good points from midfield but just feels riskier.

He can still score from midfield. I think as long as he's on the pitch I'm happy. I think he might even play more than Saka this year because of his versatility and robustness.

I know a cheap bench is best but those players will provide very few points for you.

Personally I'd do porro -> a 5.0 defender (Munoz) or a 4.5 defender (Van de Ven) and Winks up to -> Rogers (if you go with 5.0def) or a CHO (5.5mid if 4.5 defender)

Bench of quansah and a 5/5.5 mid will help cover for any gw1 injuries etc

        Triple Captain.

        Freehit.

Wildcard - more like a FH if have 5 FT’s stored.

Think both will be better for a DGW, BGW.

It’s already know doubles will be less than previous years.

I’m also planning a GW2 BB with a likely wildcard for GW4. The logic of fewer doubles and more chips seems pretty sound to me. Newcastle, Fulham and Forest have some decent but cheap players with good fixtures for GWs1-3 so I’ve gone all in on them.

      Leno
      Porro Burn Gvardiol
      Son Gordon Jota H-Odoi
      Haaland Isak Wood
      (Henderson Elanga Robinson Castagne)

That bench plays WHU (h), SOU (a), LEI (h), LEI (h) in GW2.

I think all 15 are fairly nailed. Interested to see yours though if you’d care to share?
