We received a fantastic response to our request to rate your Fantasy EFL Double Gameweek 12 teams. While we couldn’t analyse every submission, we’ve selected a few that caught our eye.
Don’t forget there’s plenty more insight and advice for Fantasy EFL managers in terms of key players, winning teams, strategy and more on the EFL website and Fantasy Football Scout.

WHAT DO WE LIKE?
This manager has a strong belief that Salford City will do well across their Double Gameweek. He has backed their number one, Jamie Jones (G), as well as selecting them as a club pick. This is a bold move, but considering their opponents have been struggling, it could provide an enormous return.
They’ve also doubled-up on Bolton, choosing George Johnston (D) and the Trotters as a club pick. Although we like the Bolton club pick selection, the Johnston one intrigued us. He’s the Trotters sixth-highest Fantasy EFL scorer with 40 points, but is only 11 points off highest-scoring defender Ricardo Santos (D) in two less appearances (9). With 0% ownership, he provides a great way into Ian Evatt’s defence compared to Santos (8.6%).
SCOUT SUGGESTION
The inclusion of only three players that feature twice across the Double Gameweek is very risky because if the popular doublers meet expectations and return considerable point hauls, then this manager may struggle to compete. Backing one or two players that feature only once this week is understandable. However, this manager has backed five Championship assets, which limits the number of points they can return from just one match opposed to the players that have two. Sheffield United’s Harry Souttar (D), Watford’s Moussa Sissoko (M), QPR’s Karamoko Dembélé (M), Sheffield Wednesday’s Barry Bannan (F) and Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto (F) have all been selected. Out of the assets, Souttar is the most appealing, having scored 67 points in 10 appearances for the Blades this season.
We would recommend including at least two more of the Double Gameweek players, to provide more of a balance in the team. Potentially removing Sissoko and Bannan would be the best options, with only one double-digit display secured by Sheffield Wednesday’s playmaker this season and Sissoko’s best haul being only eight points. All the best Danny!

WHAT DO WE LIKE?
This manager has gone all out on Double Gameweek assets which secured a green tick from us. Another manager backing the Salford City number one Jamie Jones (G), who seems a solid pick for this Gameweek, with his side facing two away ties at Colchester United and Fleetwood Town. Lincoln City’s Paudie O’Connor (D), a strong defensive presence and attacking threat, features at the back. With three assists (+9) and two goals (+14) this season, he’s been a valuable asset.
Further up the pitch, we have the inclusion of Reading’s Lewis Wing (M). The midfielder’s outstanding 25-point haul in the previous Double Gameweek has made his popularity sky-rocket, and rightly so! Another aspect of this team we love is the two interception magnets chosen: Fleetwood’s Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu (M) and Lincoln’s Ethan Erhahon (M). Sarpong-Wiredu has 19 interceptions (+38) to his name this season and the Imps midfielder has an impressive 22 (+44). Therefore, backing both of these players across a Double Gameweek will likely lead to a strong points return, with double-digit displays expected from them both! The last mention has to go to Louie Barry (F) who is also a promising pick for this week with the forward finding the back of the net twice (+10) in Double Gameweek 11.
SCOUT SUGGESTION
The key change we’d advise: although the game says that Carl Piergianni (D) is available for Stevenage, the yellow card he received in the last outing means that he has been hit with a one-match suspension. Therefore, opting for an alternative defensive asset may be a better move, although he will return against Bolton (H). The Boro’s 0-2 home loss against Cambridge United raised eyebrows, so it’s perhaps worth looking at assets elsewhere.

WHAT DO WE LIKE?
This team immediately grabs our attention, with an ideal balance of Double Gameweek assets alongside the single Gameweek players. At the back, we have the inclusion of Sunderland’s Dennis Cirkin (D) alongside Lincoln City’s Paudie O’Connor (D). Both defenders have contributed in similar ways for their sides with an abundance of defensive contributions, as well as providing an attacking dynamic. We are certainly advocates for this defensive duo.
Making up the midfield we have Lewis Wing (M), MK Dons’ Alex Gilbey (M), and a huge differential in Salford City’s Kelly N’Mai (M) as the last midfield pick. The Royals midfielder has been in excellent form, securing two assists (+6) and one goal (+6) in his latest Double Gameweek outing, contributing towards a scintillating 25-point haul for his backers.
Gilbey’s four goals (+24) and one assist (+3) for MK Dons, coupled with their recent Double Gameweek wins, make him a reliable pick for their trip to Grimsby Town, who conceded four goals in Double Gameweek 11. N’Mai’s two goals (+12), two assists (+6) and five interceptions (+10) highlight his attacking and defensive contributions, making him a unique and potentially high-reward differential. Elsewhere, Louie Barry’s (F) consistent attacking threat makes him a solid, conventional choice.
SCOUT SUGGESTION
Stevenage looked unconvincing in their last outing, losing 0-2 in front of their home faithful to a struggling Cambridge United side. The Boro have managed seven clean sheets this season, and selecting their number one Matt Mahoney (G) is understandable, even if Piergianni (D) is missing for their first match. Nonetheless, our concern lies with the vice-captaincy decision. While Mahoney’s inclusion is near-guaranteed minutes points (+4), his overall impact may be modest. Captaining him in Double Gameweek 11 would’ve returned 22 points, a really decent score. However, without Piergianni in the first game, we’re not expecting fireworks from Boro’s number one [from a captaincy perspective]. We feel there are more exciting players that could don the vice-armband, like Louie Barry. Your choice of N’Mai is eye-catching – consider giving him the vice-captain armband. It’s a risky move, but one that could pay off tenfold, if Wing isn’t involved in either game.
The final decision lies with you Tom, hopefully green arrows for you this week!
