If you are seeking some further inspiration, this is the piece for you. Here, we go through the Fantasy EFL Gameweek 35 top picks for Saturday and Sunday, determining who you should be targeting.
Please note: All of these players mentioned DID NOT make the Scout Picks article but were honourable mentions.
Don’t forget, you can make changes to your Fantasy EFL team, including player/club picks and captaincy right up until kick-off.
TOP PICKS – GOALKEEPER
Michael Cooper (G) – Sheffield United vs Plymouth Argyle (A)
Their defensive record speaks for itself and the only close competitor this week would be James Trafford (G), but his inclusion in Scout Picks rules him out.
Cooper has racked up an excellent 19 clean sheets (+95) this season and produced a wonderful 101 saves, totalling 208 points. His side travels to Devonshire to take on Plymouth Argyle, who are currently scrapping relegation. Sheffield United had a miserable Double Gameweek 35, suffering consecutive 1-0 losses against Oxford United and Millwall, so will be even more eager to return to winning ways this week. A great chance for Cooper to secure a clean sheet return (+5), whilst picking up further save contributions.

TOP PICKS – DEFENDERS
Tom Anderson (D) – Doncaster Rovers Vs AFC Wimbledon (H), Salford City (A)
He has picked up a highly impressive 25 points from his last three outings, the majority from clearances – his potential across a Double Gameweek is enormous. With his ownership currently standing at just 0.4%, he could be the perfect differential pick. A home tie against the Dons provides a great platform for a healthy haul and this is followed by a trip to Salford City, which is equally a great chance for further bonus points to be secured.
Connor Hall (D) – Port Vale Vs Bromley (H)
The centre-back has proved to be a defensive giant in Fantasy EFL, accumulating an incredible tally of 265 points. He is currently averaging 6.8 points per game and has been back to his best in recent weeks. A 19-point haul across Double Gameweek 34 followed by a healthy eight-point return in Gameweek 35 reinforces why he is one of this weekend’s top picks. His side hosts Bromley and are currently on a three-game unbeaten run. He hasn’t blanked since Gameweek 7.
TOP PICKS – MIDFIELDERS
Owen Bailey (M) – Doncaster Rovers Vs AFC Wimbledon (H), Salford City (A)
While Luke Molyneux (M) might be the midfielder everyone’s eyeing from The Rovers, don’t sleep on Bailey. He’s proving to be an all-rounder, bagging five goals (+30 points) and setting up four others (+12 points). Plus, he’s a tackling machine, racking up a fantastic 31 interceptions (+62 points). With two games on the cards, a big points return is definitely possible – in Gameweek 34, he grabbed a 19-point haul! Owned by just 0.8% of managers, he’s a proper differential if you’re looking to shake things up in midfield.

Kelly N’Mai (M) – Salford City Vs Notts County (A), Doncaster Rovers (H)
The number 10 is another differential, with his ownership currently standing at just 0.4%, but with an average points per game of 5.3 across a Double Gameweek he should not be overlooked. He now has seven goals (+35) and four assists (+12) to his name, but has also imposed himself from a defensive perspective with an impressive 19 interceptions (+38) also secured. He bagged 14 points in his last Double Gameweek, and went on to provide a small percentage of managers a healthy nine points in Gameweek 35.
TOP PICK – FORWARD
Cole Stockton (F) – Salford City Vs Notts County (A), Doncaster Rovers (H)
The attacker has been prolific this season, with 12 goals (+60) and two assists (+6) now secured. He is another player who provided a healthy double-digit haul across the Double Gameweek 34, securing 16 points and he went on to add seven more in Gameweek 35 with another goal against Gillingham. With three goals in three, featuring for 90 minutes, he’s nailed in Karl Robinson’s side.
