HUDDERSFIELD TOWN: BLACKPOOL (A), DONCASTER ROVERS (H)
League One – 15:00, Saturday 16 August and 19:45, Tuesday 19 August

The Terriers lead the EFL with 20 Fantasy points so far as a result of two dominant victories. Their improvement from last season is undeniable as they seek to contend for the title.
Early season form
Lee Grant’s side won their season opener 3-0 before managing a 2-0 victory on the road in Gameweek 2. This pristine form has turned heads as they are now the second-most popular club pick this week, with 20% ownership at present.
Blackpool have struggled mightily, conceding seven and losing their first two games of the season. As a newly promoted side, Doncaster Rovers, despite their good start, are inherently deemed an easier fixture and have been given ‘green’ status this week.
Key players
- Alfie May (F)
- Joe Low (D)
- Jack Whatmough (D)
FANTASY EFL DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 3 FFS PREDICTION – 2-0 win, 2-1 win
LUTON TOWN: BRADFORD CITY (A), WIGAN ATHLETIC (H)

Luton are the most popular club pick this Gameweek with 28.8% ownership, and for good reason. Following two consecutive seasons of relegation, the Hatters are looking to make a statement in League One and regain their place in the highest division of the EFL.
They match up against Wigan Athletic and newly promoted Bradford City this Gameweek.
Early season form
The Hatters have tallied two wins and two clean sheets this season and will look to continue their flawless campaign this Gameweek. They have 18 Fantasy points and have scored three goals in two.
Their defence has certainly been the most commendable aspect of their game, though this may be impacted by Christ Makosso’s (D) suspension.
Bradford failed to score against Northampton last Saturday and their first League One campaign since 2018/19 will likely pose its challenges as the season progresses.
The Latics have lost one and won one to start the season, accurately representing their status as a mid-table side. They finished 15th last year and were the worst offensive side in the division, bagging just 40 goals.
Key players
- Mads Andersen (D)
- George Saville (M)
- Jordan Clark (M)
FANTASY EFL DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 3 FFS PREDICTION – 0-0, 1-0 win
CARDIFF CITY: ROTHERHAM UNITED (H), AFC WIMBLEDON (A)
League One – 15:00, Saturday 16 August and 19:45, Tuesday 19 August

The Bluebirds have had a flying start to the season and are the favourites in both of their upcoming Double Gameweek 3 fixtures. They take on Rotherham and newly-promoted Wimbledon, two ‘green’ fixtures on the Fantasy EFL ticker.
Brian Barry-Murphy’s side have shown solid improvement compared to last year and should remain near the top of the table by the end of the Gameweek.
Early season form
After being relegated last season, Cardiff City started their League One campaign with a 2-1 victory over Peterborough, followed by a scoreless draw against Port Vale. They’re clearly hoping for a quick return to the Championship.
Notably, they are still awaiting the comebacks of key players Alex Robertson (M) and Perry Ng (D), and will undoubtedly be an even more dangerous side when they recover from injury.
Rotherham finished mid-table last year and have suffered the losses of crucial players like Hakeem Odoffin (D) and Jonson Clarke-Harris (F).
Wimbledon have won one and lost one in their return to League One following promotion last season. They struggled for goals last season, which seems to be a similar issue this season.
Key players
- Ronan Kpakio (D)
- Yousef Saleh (F)
- Rubin Colwill (M)
FANTASY EFL DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 3 FFS PREDICTION – 1-0 win, 2-1 win
MK DONS: CHELTENHAM TOWN (H), CRAWLEY TOWN (A)
League Two – 15:00, Saturday 16 August and 19:45, Tuesday 19 August

MK Dons have a strong set of fixtures coming up in this double gameweek and are a very popular Fantasy EFL club pick due to their dominant form. They face Cheltenham (H) and Crawley (A), two sides with poor starts to the campaign.
Early season form
The Dons had a mixed 24/25 campaign, where they managed five shutouts in their first 42 games before not conceding once in their last four. This defensive improvement has evidently carried over, as they have kept clean sheets in both of their first two games on their way to 16 Fantasy points. This comes largely as a result of the defensive contributions of Jack Sanders (D) and Luke Offord (D) in particular.
The same cannot be said for the Robins and the Reds.
They have each lost their first two games, conceding three and five respectively. Cheltenham had a mid-table finish with 70 goals conceded last year, whilst Crawley faced relegation from League One after conceding 83.
Key players
- Jack Sanders (D)
- Luke Offord (D)
- Callum Patterson (F)
FANTASY EFL DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 3 FFS PREDICTION – 1-0 win, 3-1 win
STEVENAGE: Northampton (H), Port Vale (A)
League One – 15:00, Saturday 16 August and 19:45, Tuesday 19 August
The Boro have two great fixtures this Gameweek as they expect to continue their blistering start to the campaign. They are one of the key teams to keep an eye on in this huge Double Gameweek, since they were one of the few sides with two ‘green’ fixtures.
Early season form
The 25/26 season could not have started better for the Boro, as they have won both of their opening fixtures in impressive fashion.
They opened with a 3-2 away victory (+9) and followed it up with a 1-0 win in gameweek 2 (+7).
This has been led by talisman Jamie Reid (F), who has scored three of Stevenage’s four goals. They are one of six teams to emerge victorious in both games, and by Tuesday could certainly be one of the few with four wins to their name.
Northampton have shown little improvement following their poor 19th-placed finish last season. They lost their season opener 3-1 to the worst offensive team in the division last season [Wigan], before a 0-0 stalemate against Bradford last week.
Port Vale have had a similarly poor start following promotion last year, losing one and drawing one of their first two games.
Key players
- Jamie Reid (F)
- Carl Piergianni (D)
- Dan Butler (D)
FANTASY EFL DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 3 FFS PREDICTION – 4-0 win, 0-0
