FANTASY EFL: CARABAO CUP ROUND TWO FIXTURES

HOMEAWAYDATE/TIME
Sunderland [PL]Huddersfield Town [League One]Tuesday, 19:45
Sheffield Wednesday [Championship]Leeds United [PL]Tuesday, 19:45
Burnley [PL]Derby County [Championship]Tuesday, 19:45

Grimsby Town [League Two]Manchester United [PL]Wednesday, 19:45

With many of these top-flight sides having tough starts to the campaign, their focus will certainly be more on league football than cup fixtures.

This could mean some extended cup runs for the EFL sides listed here if they play at full strength.

Most notably, Manchester United’s visit to Blundell Park could have a classic written all over it.

David Artell’s in-form Mariners have gathered 11 points in five games and have one of the league’s most potent attacks. They face a struggling Manchester United.

The Red Devils, managed by Rubin Amorim, are yet to win this season and have a dismal away record, with only two victories in their last 13 road matches, making an upset a distinct possibility.

Any other notable round two fixtures?

These all-EFL ties could also heavily influence decisions for Fantasy EFL Gameweek 5:

Unbeaten League Two side Bromley hosts an out-of-sorts Wycombe Wanderers.

Championship leaders Stoke City entertain an equally undefeated Bradford City in League One.

Elsewhere, Barnsley face off against local rivals Rotherham United, while League One leaders Cardiff City take on Cheltenham Town, who currently sit at the bottom of League Two.

Additionally, Millwall have a mouthwatering tie against promotion rivals Coventry City.
