Matchday 6 arrives next week, which means UCL Fantasy managers are already turning their attention to the upcoming deadline.

With several teams hitting strong form and a few standout fixtures on the horizon, this is a good moment to assess which sides offer the best potential heading into the new Matchday.

To do this, we take a look at the new UCL Fantasy Fixture Ticker.

BEST FIXTURES: MATCHDAY 6 IN ISOLATION

WHO HAS THE BEST FIXTURES?

Only a handful of sides feature on the fixture ticker with fully favourable (green) matchups in Matchday 6, and Olympiakos are among them. The Greek outfit sit 33rd in the league-phase table after failing to win any of their opening five matches. However, a trip to Kairat, who have collected just one point so far, could present a much-needed turning point.

Marseille are another side UCL Fantasy managers may consider this week. It has been a mixed campaign under Roberto De Zerbi, with two wins and three defeats from their opening fixtures. Their opponents, Union Saint-Gilloise, have been just as inconsistent, making this one difficult to call.

Ajax face a steep task to keep their qualification hopes alive. Bottom of the league phase after losing all five matches so far, the Dutch side travel to Qarabag, who come into the round following a 2–0 defeat to Napoli in Matchday 5.

One side UCL Fantasy managers can rely on with greater confidence is Juventus. Luciano Spalletti’s team host Pafos in a fixture that offers a strong route to all three points. Juventus are unbeaten in their last seven matches in all competitions, further enhancing their appeal.

Villarreal and Arsenal complete the top six on the ticker. Villarreal take on an inconsistent Copenhagen, while Arsenal will look to make it six wins from six when they travel to Belgium to face Club Brugge.

WHO HAS THE WORST FIXTURES?

Several teams face difficult assignments in Matchday 6, with a number of fixtures marked in red on the ticker. The standout clash sees Real Madrid take on Manchester City, a heavyweight meeting between two sides widely expected to reach the latter stages of the competition.

It may now be time to move on from Inter assets as they prepare to face Liverpool. Despite Arne Slot’s side struggling for consistency both domestically and in Europe, the fixture still represents a major challenge for the Italian outfit.

The schedule also remains unforgiving for Athletic Club. Having lost three of their first five matches, they are in urgent need of a result. However, that looks unlikely this round as they face the reigning European champions, Paris Saint-Germain.

Sporting CP assets have been popular since the start of the campaign, but their appeal is set to drop sharply this week. They come up against Bayern Munich, who will be desperate to respond after their heavy defeat to Arsenal in the previous round.

Elsewhere, Club Brugge, Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt, PSV Eindhoven, and Benfica also feature among the sides with tough fixtures. From an investment perspective, avoiding these teams could prove a sensible strategy this week.
