Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is live for 2026/27, and the team reveals are flying left, right and centre!

But the question is: how does your own first draft stack up?

Well, now you can put your team to the test with Fantasy Football Scout’s free Rate My Draft tool.

Upload a screenshot of your FPL team and get an instant rating for your current squad.

Want to know how to improve? Chief Scout members (aka paying subscribers) get recommended transfers powered by our industry-leading Rate My Team (RMT) projections, plus ratings for every position in their squad, making weak spots easy to spot and even easier to fix.

GET YOUR TEAM RATED HERE

WHO CAN USE THE TEAM RATER?

Anyone with a free or paid-for Fantasy Football Scout account can use this rater.

However, you can also use Apple and Google sign-ins for a quick and easy way of getting a squad summary.

HOW MANY TEAMS CAN I HAVE RATED?

Assistant Scout (aka free) members of Fantasy Football Scout are permitted one screenshot upload – but you can have unlimited manual builds in our FPL Draft tool!

Chief Scout (aka paid) Members are allowed five screenshots. Again, they can tinker away to their heart’s content in the FPL Draft tool.

WHAT DOES THE TEAM RATER LOOK LIKE?

Upon uploading a screenshot of their squads, Fantasy managers will be presented with a breakdown of their squads based on our points projections:

FPL 2026 team rater

*some players will still feature in old kits/not have images until the new season begins

Chief Scout members then get recommended transfers, based on our points projections:

FPL 2026 team rater

These points projections will evolve over the coming month, as pre-season friendlies take place and transfers happen. For example, Rodrigo Muniz (£5.5m) fares very well for ‘expected minutes’ at the moment due to Fulham’s absence of senior positional rivals; Raul Jimenez has moved on now. Muniz’s projected game-time will obviously decrease if and when the Cottagers buy reinforcements up top.

DON’T FORGET OUR FPL DRAFT TOOL

Don’t forget that you can also use our FPL Draft feature to put together a squad with all the official FPL prices.

We hope you find these tools useful!

If I’m not looking to captain him until GW 5 (with a GW3 FH), surely the value play is to go without Haaland…!?

    Thoughts…….?

My team without EBH would be:

      Kinsky (4)
Cala Maguire N. Williams (Jacquet Thomas)
      Bruno Mbeumo Palmer Foden (Stach)
      Isak JP DCL

      Ops?

I like the trio up top, but what is your plan B if Isak gets injured?
Are you sure of Foden’s minutes?

Planning a GW 5 Wildcard, so Isak should hold on until then. If not, I have the depth to cover a gameweek or 2 without him. Foden’s there as a placeholder - got the budget for semenyo, so will likely move there

So you're essentially sacrificing proven good starter Haaland for punts on risky picks like Isak (new manager, no form), Foden (no form) and Mbeumo (where will he start?). Not sure I'd go through with it.

This is exactly my problem, the alternatives aren't good enough. If we were in the past when we had multiple great picks in that 8-10m range then it would be more tempting

This is exactly my plan. And I think Bruno is still a decent captain shout in GW5 too, then WC over the international break.

I think that’s very true. Also, very tempted to try to roll to 5 transfers to use over the break instead of a planned wildcard.

I’d bring in Osula, Haaland to start, with maybe a kroupi + Truffert too if budget allows. Can also by then have a great estimation of good 4.5 Mids/Forwards to allow.

I'd just get him, the players you can get instead just aren't good enough to make it worth it imo. The likes of Foden, Mbeumo etc - generally not seen in Haaland + Bruno teams - pretty uninspiring

Very decent draft. I was considering that expensive front 3, but I need to see if Isak's found form before committing 9m.

A because I think if Shaw is fit, he will start.

Calafiori is always a toss up with Hincapie over who starts

I possibly could be wrong with this one, its hard to pick between the 2. I get that short term Mosquera could be the more nailed to start. But if both on the pitch, and longer term, I think Calafiori is the better pick. I know there's competition from Hincapie but gut feeling is Cala will do alright, hes very attacking.

The only thing that puts me off is whether whilst Saliba is out, will Arteta go with Hincapie as the more defensive option to sure up the back line.

    Best combo?

    A - Cunha & Joao Pedro
    B - Palmer & DCL

Already have Bruno so it will be a Utd double up in midfield if I go with A

      Id say A for sure.
We cant be certain on Palmer yet, will he be the Palmer of old? And also DCL is frustrating as hell.

If you own Bruno then he has to be assisting somebody, which could likely be Cunha. And JP is a good pick at that price

I agree, with "A" being MUCH better, but I think rogers could be a better pick than Cunha. Also I think Foden is someone to have your eye on.

Play the fixtures. If it's only very short term, Brobbey's first two are great. DCL had a decent opening run.

Crazy idea to start the season with timber despite his injury? He seems by far the best long term value arsenal defence pick.of the bunch.

My defence can cover for him the first few weeks playing 3 from:

    Tarkowski, Neco, vuskovic, Thomas

Do you really want to be starting with flagged players? If theres any setback to his recovery then its almost planning in an unnecessary transfer. I dont think its a risk worth taking when you could just bring him in later when he is back. Maybe have someone same price as a placeholder?

Misses the home game against Coventry. I’d rather go without if it’s your second/third Arsenal defensive pick or go for someone else from them if it’s your only pick or you definitely want an extra pick from Arsenal

    RMT

    Raya,
    Shaw, Mykolenko, N Williams,
    Rogers, Szob, Cunha, Mbuemo,
    J Pedro, Isak, Haaland

    4m Gk, Gomez, Kadioglu, Thomas.

The Isak pick is subject to how preseason goes. Lpools fixtures are really good after Newcastle game and if hes the main man there scoring then I think everyone will want him in. Need to see how hes looking first. If he looks crap still then Ill look to upgrade one of Cunha or Mbuemo back to Bruno

I feel like the defense is light. If you downgrade Isak, is use the money there instead of trying to squeeze in Bruno (you already have Haaland for captaincy)

I think Rogers will be great long term, but I wouldn't want to start with him after going drop in the world cup and at a new club. Maybe take him down to one of the many 6.5/6s and invest that money in defense?

Rogers was originally Ndiaye, and Kadioglu, Thomas, were Van Hecke and Jaquet. But I was looking at a way to get that extra 7.5m mid price point in case either Rogers or Foden looked 'essential'.

Swapping Raya and Shaw to Lammens and Calafiori/ Mosquera might make the defence look better to look at but I guess but despite looking light, I think that defence could still do alright.

I think I prefer the Ndiaye and better defence, but can definitely see the reasoning. And i guess pre-season will always give more info about Rogers.

I think Raya/Shaw is probably the better way round of them, no sweating on rotation at the back then for Arsenal.

Done some number crunching to rank the best 'value' mids in terms of points per 90 minutes played / price:

    Okafor (£6.0) points per 90 minutes = 6.32... PP90/price = 1.05
    Cherki (£7.5) points per 90 minutes = 6.86... PP90/price = 0.91
    Damsgaard (£5.5) points per 90 minutes = 4.97... PP90/price = 0.90
    Harry Wilson (£6.5) points per 90 minutes = 5.65... PP90/price = 0.87
    Anton Stach (£6.0) points per 90 minutes = 5.20... PP90/price = 0.87
    Harvey Barnes (£6.0m) points per 90 minutes = 4.89... PP90/price = 0.82
    Diego Gómez (£5.0) points per 90 minutes = 4.12... PP90/price = 0.82
    Yarmoliuk (£5.0) points per 90 minutes = 3.53... PP90/price = 0.71
    MGW points (£8.0) per 90 minutes = 5.44... PP90/price = 0.68
    Saka points (£9.5) per 90 minutes = 6.37... PP90/price = 0.67
    Bruno (£12.0) points per 90 minutes = 6.90... PP90/price = 0.58
    Palmer (£9.5) per 90 minutes = 5.25... PP90/price = 0.55

Really surprised how well Okafor performed when he was on the pitch, but the biggest standout for me here is that Cherki basically matched Bruno's output, and Saka wasn't far off despite having fitness issues all season.

Thanks for the work! I love this stat, but always want to look at it alongside the points per million per match from the article the other day. The article stat penalises sub appearances (sometimes a good thing to do if they're not nailed, but if they made a lot of sub appearances when coming back from am injury or early season before becoming nailed later then it hurts them)

This stat rewards a lot of cameo appearances (9x10 minute cameos with no goal involvements =9pts per 90mins) so a balanced look at both together is great.

Looking at the table, it's interesting that even in 'bad' seasons, Saka and Palmer still have pretty decent pp90, and you'd expect them to improve this year.

    4. LangerznMash
      • 10 Years
      2 days, 17 hours ago

      Forwards:
      Osula (6.0) points per 90 minutes = 8.50... PP90/price = 1.42
      Beto (5.5) points per 90 minutes = 6.03... PP90/price = 1.10
      Sesko (7.0) points per 90 minutes = 6.13... PP90/price = 0.88
      Woltemade (6.0) points per 90 minutes = 5.13... PP90/price = 0.86
      Welbeck (6.0) points per 90 minutes = 5.04... PP90/price = 0.84
      João Pedro (7.5) points per 90 minutes = 6.00... PP90/price = 0.80
      DCL (6.0) points per 90 minutes = 4.70... PP90/price = 0.78
      Igor Jesus (6.0) points per 90 minutes = 4.47... PP90/price = 0.75
      Mateta (6.5) points per 90 minutes = 4.64... PP90/price = 0.71
      Watkins (8.0) points per 90 minutes = 5.31... PP90/price = 0.66
      Haaland (15.5) points per 90 minutes = 7.29... PP90/price = 0.47

My word, Osula was a beast in his limited minutes!
Dare I say Haaland appears overpriced...

DCL and JP topped the article list, and all of yours were there somewhere I think, apart from Haaland.

I think everyone agrees that Haaland is only worth the money with captaincy, which is why I'm only going for one of him and Bruno (probably Bruno)

Was already watching Osuala and Sesko in pre-season to see if they look nailed, but wasn't expecting them to be so high! Maybe some of this comes from the sub appearance thing I said before? Did they both come on late a lot last year? If nailed, I think they both look fantastic value.

        1. LangerznMash
          • 10 Years

I agree on picking either Bruno OR Haaland (not both) for captaincy reasons only, and I'm also firmly favouring Bruno.
As captaining doubles the points, this would make Haaland's value 0.94, whereas Bruno's = 1.16. It's worth noting that Bruno also always plays way more minutes than Haaland.

I've not looked in depth at Osuala and Sesko so can't answer your question, but if either look nailed to start then they'd be amazing value picks.

Good numbers, interesting! The big issue here for me is that points per 90 overvalues players like Saka who consistently have their minutes managed and underrates the 90+ every single gw players like Bruno. So in reality the two arent close at all as FPL picks

Not yet, maybe assisting in pre-season, but don't hold your breath. Looks like it will need to be 4.5+the 4.0 back up

Will Maguire be safe minutes wise until the first IB?

I think so, despite the criticism he's been relatively solid, good for set pieces, and with a point to prove

    Currently on:
    Lammens (Verbruggen)
    Guehi-Diop-Mosquera (Van Ewijk-De Cupyer)
    Szobozlai-Saka-Ndiaye-Semenyo (Hughes)
    Haaland-Thiago-J Pedro

Any feedback? Might swap Verbruggen for a 4.0 if they're guaranteed minutes so I can upgrade Diop. Relatively happy with my midfield and attack.

Too much on keepers. Rotate 4.5’s or go Lammens and 4m. The rest is good

Agreed, you definitely don't want to be having to rotate 4.0 defenders. Find some money from the GKs to upgrade one of them

Swapped Verbruggen for Dovin (no idea if he starts)
Gone Kayode as my 4.5 defender over Diop because Brentford have a decent start.

Where will Bruno G be playing? Will Rogers be playing from gw1? Doubtful. Not gone on two 4m defenders

              Harvey Barnes or Noah Okafor.

Barnes = 56 goals and 34 assists in 156 starts (Premier League only)
Okafor = 6.32 points per 90 minutes (FPL).

Real Madrid League (don’t have to be a fan)

If you prefer small leagues (20 or fewer managers) to the unwieldy so called mini leagues then this is one to join.

A few places left before it’s closed.

An unusual but potentially fun rotation pairing = Damsgaard and Beto. So playing 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 with a playable sub (no bench fodder).

    GW1: Beto vs Palace (home)
GW2: either vs Leeds or Bournemouth
    GW3: Damsgaard vs Sunderland (home)
    GW4: Damsgaard vs Bournemouth
    GW5: Beto vs Ipswich (home)
    GW6: Beto vs Hull
GW7: either vs Liverpool or Chelsea (worst GW in this rotation)
    GW8: Damsgaard vs Hull
    GW9: Damsgaard vs Forest (home)
    GW10: Beto vs Coventry (home)

Both of these £5.5m players had very high points per minutes last season.

Beto is shocking... Barry is somehow even worse but still a threat to Beto's mins.

In real life yes... on FPL Beto has been one of the best value forwards two seasons in a row.

A bit more expensive at 6.0 each, but Barnes/Osuala rotated with LeFee/Brobbey looks really good too

  25. My burnt offering:

    _ Dubruvka _
    Guéhi _ Senesi _ Mitchell
    Bruno _ Semenyo _ Wilson _ Zubimendi
    The Norse God _ Thiago _ Calvert-Lewin

Vicario: Taylor _ Diop _ Giles

Keep an eye on those double home matches! 😉
