NOTES
- LAFC arguably have the best defensive fixture on paper this week. That brings Hugo Lloris and Yevhen Cheberko into my team, replacing Yohei Takaoka and the suspended Tristan Blackmon, respectively.
- Anthony Markanich also comes into my side ahead of a decent run of fixtures for Minnesota United. Despite keeping just one clean sheet in 13 matches since the World Cup break, the wing-back continues to offer a solid points floor. He’s contributed four goals and one assist during that period.
- In midfield, Hany Mukhtar is a no-brainer for Nashville’s home clash with Sporting Kansas City. Elsewhere, Evander remains in contention for Cincinnati’s home meeting with New England. For now, he gets a stay of execution.
- Antoine Griezmann completes my Round 29 transfers. Orlando face Toronto, DC United and NYCFC in their next three matches, making him difficult to overlook. Since arriving in MLS, the Frenchman has blanked in just two appearances, highlighting his consistency.

NOTES
- Another quick turnaround in MLS Fantasy this week! Round 28 brought in 104 points. Robert Lewandowski was disappointing during the double, coming off the bench in his first match before blanking in the second. Thankfully, I captained Lionel Messi, who outscored Lewandowski despite playing just once!
- No changes in goal this week, with Vancouver’s Yohei Takaoka and Andrew Thomas retaining their places.
- In defence, I’ve gone with Jack Elliott, Noel Caliskan, Mathías Laborda and Neil Pierre. The only change sees Maxwell Woledzi replace Mbekezeli Mbokazi.
- André Luiz keeps his place in midfield after an incredible start to life at Sporting Kansas City, scoring seven goals in his first seven matches. Thomas Müller picked up an injury during the double Gameweek, so Carlo Holse comes in as his replacement. Meanwhile, the injured Evander makes way for Chicago’s in-form Maren Haile-Selassie. Guilherme and Albert Rusnák complete my midfield.
- Up front, Messi leads the line once again. I’ve decided to move away from my two Chicago strikers, bringing in Rafael Navarro and Martín Ojeda, who both have appealing fixtures this week.
- Captaincy will most likely go to the GOAT, Messi. After last week’s decision paid off, I’m happy to back him again!

NOTES
- My goalkeepers will remain unchanged for now, despite a slight fixture clash.
- In defence, I’m looking to bring in Ryan Porteous and Maxwell Woledzi, who both have some favourable fixtures coming up.
- In midfield, Hany Mukhtar is a no-brainer given his impressive form and the strong run of fixtures ahead for Nashville.
- Up front, I’m looking to bring in Sam Surridge and Denis Bouanga. LAFC haven’t been in great form recently, but with their manager now gone, hopefully they can turn things around. A home clash with Austin looks like the perfect opportunity to get back on track.
