Tunisia v England: Walker the go-to Fantasy asset

Kyle Walker (£6.0m) is the headline World Cup Fantasy for England ahead of their first game of Russia’s finals.

The Manchester City wing-back has become one of the most assured of starts in Gareth Southgate’s back-three, as a makeshift centre-back.

His importance to the Three Lions has convinced a tenth of World Cup Fantasy managers to sign him for Gameround 1.

Jesse Lingard (£7.5m) is the next most-popular in 6.9% of squads with expensive forward Harry Kane (£11.0m) in 6.6%.

With selection a possibility in midfield and attack, Dele Alli (£9.0m) and Raheem Sterling (£9.0m) are both before four percent ownership.

The most popular player in Tunisia’s ranks is striker Ahmed Kalil (£4.5m), who is not expected to get much game-time Russia. However, four percent of managers have opted to use him as a budget enabler.

Meanwhile, left-back Ali Maaloul’s (£4.5m) three assists in qualifying and recent friendlies has one percent including him on a punt.

      Kane one?

Oh God, now unarticulated pundits will have a field day.

Best will be Alan Shearer who hates VAR but will shout at the rafters about Where was VAR then...

The ref gave the Walker foul by himself. Do you think if he said no VAR would have over ruled him? Hmmm.....

Walker lucky to still be on the pitch. A strike to the face.

Maguire is absolutely dominating the Tunisian defenders. Could have had 3 assists already from headers in the box.

TBF his headers cover everything in the 6 yard box. 😉
