In the first edition of ScoutCast Extra Time, Joe finds out how Gameweek 1 went for Mark, and how he intends to play Gameweek 2. You can watch the video below or on our YouTube channel.
Spurred on by 72 points but with 30 on his bench from the opening round of fixtures, he is keeping his captain’s armband on Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) for Liverpool’s trip to Crystal Palace. However, he does admit to being worried about the potential damage inflicted by Sergio Aguero (£11.0m).
Benjamin Mendy (£6.0m) will slot into Mark’s first XI for a home match against Huddersfield Town, as it was the Frenchman who made up 50 percent of the bench opening weekend bench score. In fact, Mark went as far as to say he will never bench Mendy again.
On the transfer front, Sutherns Comfort look set to hold firm this week, enabling two free moves and perhaps a “mini Wildcard” for Gameweek 3. With that in mind, the pair tentatively look ahead to assess the possible options.
