Some previously powerful Fantasy Premier League set piece assets seems to have lost their edge in the first four Gameweeks of 2018/19.

That’s what our latest research into set plays data has shown us this week.

    wich do you like more?

    i know i have 3 chelsea in there both, but going to play pedro only 1 gw, then swapping him to richarlison.

        also thought about that but there is no easy way to bring richarlison in when he is back, cuz i think he is essential. do u think hamer is better pick than button, that actually doesnt matter cuz im going to play patricio anyway if my other gk is 4.0 and prob not playing.

        I still Chose his B. Pedro > Richarlison is a big plus compare to Fraser. Vardy and Lacazette is a close call.

      Fraser is injured so you might want to reconsider the first team.

      You can downgrade Mane to Dilva and get a better 5th mid (Hughes, Kante or someone).

      And if you want Richarlison next week, just include him in your WC team before the deadline and play AWB or someone else this week. That let's you save an FT next week.

          He's got two elite and explosive captaincy options in Hazard and Kun. Why not?

              Invalid comparison.

              Mendy and Alonso offer tremendous value at their price.

              Plus, they have form + fixtures.

              Mane doesn't have the fixtures, he's in good form tho but how long can he continue to score a goal with every shot that he hits on target? That's been his story so far this season.

    Do any guys on here go against the grain in terms of fantasy norms?
    All the rules of play become absolute on this site too often.
    In my time playing the game !:
    Transfer early. It might have hurt twice a year on average but my TV is always much higher than my ML rivals, often resulting in winning the money.
    The first WC is always held onto too long IMO. If early surgery is required, take it.

      Though I give in to the temptation myself every season; I think the best time to WC is the 2nd IB. You have a better idea of form + fixtures as most of the teams are more or less settled by that point from an FPL pov. And you can build your team around 'fantasy essentials' at that point. For example, Kane hasn't hit the ground running so far but we all know that he will start firing sooner rather than later. We all talk about Salah's 'underlying stats' but what if he continues to underperform? Especially at that price.

    My behaviour towards membership is similar to an in form player i don't have - i'm being stubborn and refusing to buy on because i can't get it at the starting price, even though it's proving to be good value this year and everyone else has probably bought into it now

          Diego Rico is a Spanish left wing back who played for Zaragoza and Leganes before joining Bournemouth this summer.

          Played two games for BOU so far - hit the bar with a wonder strike in League Cup and impressed in the league vs Chelsea. He is on some set pieces, is a good crosser, is attacking, and used to score a few long range bangers in Spain in previous seasons. Bournemouth fans have been impressed and think Daniels will sit on the bench more often than he will stand on the pitch this season.

          He is 4.5 and a pretty decent differential if on a WC, imo.

      Lukaku wasnt impressive at all yesterday imo. Some poor touches. Scored two goals from good deliveries though. Iceland were quite poor - conceded six vs Switzerland a few days earlier.

      But yeah, Lukaku looks confident

    Should i go 4x def with Mendy, Alonso, Holebas and Robbo. Then play Salah, Mane and Moura in mid. + I also have Neves, which i was thinking about rotating with Holebas. Is it a good idea or should i just downgrade Holebas to Bennett and get Maddison??

    I want to get Alonso,
    was thinking of getting him for Daniels or Maguire.
    and with this removing Pogba or Mikhi.

    So need your opinions and I'm open to hearing out other options.
