FFS Cup first round draw revealed for Gameweek 29

The first round draw of the second FFS Cup of 2018/19 has now taken place so managers can now discover if they made it through the qualifying stage.

Just under 1,200 managers applied for the 512 places available in the first round draw, with the Gameweek 28 qualifying score set at 56 (after hits) and an overall rank of 56,202 or better needed for those hitting that total exactly.

Seven former champions – Gribude, Wild Rover, MCH, Joe, 2EyedTurk, A Manager Has No Name and donnellyc – were exempt from the qualifying score and received a bye upon submitting their applications.

Angelneo was the lucky manager to squeak through in 512th place, while Nordeast was desperately unfortunate to miss out. He also had a Gameweek 28 score of 56 but was below the cut-off for overall rank, currently at 62,499.

          I kind of agree. Having watched the matches, Son in particular has cooled off a bit.

          Derby could produce anything, but I don't know. Was surprised to see him in the Scout Picks.

          If I go for Haz/Sterling, I'd probably feel it might only be worth it if I captain them... but not sure I want to.

            Derbies are one offs, but I worry about spurs creativity.

            Hopefully spurs can get behind arsenal defence in a way they couldn't at Chelsea, but spurs midfield isn't bossing games. It's quite predictable.

    Who would you prefer to play in gw30, gw31, gw33:

    A: Digne (new, CHE, ARS)
    B: Schindler (BOU, cry, LEI)

    - Schindler with the better fixtures, whilst digne with the attacking threat
    - Reason i am asking is coz i am deciding between doing Digne >> TAA this gw or waiting till next gw to Schindler >> TAA.
