Mauricio Pochettino has pulled the rug from under our feet yet again with a surprise line-up to face Manchester City today.
Both Hugo Lloris (£5.4m) and Kieran Trippier (£6.0m) are absent from the matchday squad.
According to the manager, the French goalkeeper has picked up a small problem ahead of this match, so Paulo Gazzaniga (£4.5m) is in goal for Spurs.
“He suffered some small problem, muscle problem, but hopefully it’s not a big issue and he’ll be ready for Tuesday.” – Mauricio Pochettino
Meanwhile, there are four centre-backs and one full-back named in the side.
It looks like Toby Alderweireld (£6.0m), Davinson Sánchez (£5.8m) and Jan Vertonghen (£5.9m) are the back-three, with Ben Davies (£5.6m) and Juan Foyth (£5.0m) on the left and right flanks respectively.
There is better news further up the pitch for Fantasy managers with Son Heung-min (£8.8m) lining up as a centre-forward alongside Lucas Moura (£6.8m), while Christian Eriksen (£9.3m) starts in central midfield.
On the bench for Spurs is Fernando Llorente (£5.1m) and forgotten man Vinent Janssen.
Manchester City’s starting XI is more straight forward, with Sergio Aguero (£11.7m), Raheem Sterling (£11.5m) and Kevin de Bruyne (£9.7m) all in the side.
Phil Foden (£4.5m) makes just his second Premier League start of the campaign in midfield.
Man City XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko, Gundogan, Foden, De Bruyne, B. Silva, Sterling, Aguero.
Spurs XI: Gazzaniga, Foyth, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Alli, Eriksen, Moura, Son.
