Martial leads United line as ‘Potter Roulette’ strikes again

Anthony Martial (£7.7m) is set for another outing as Manchester United’s centre-forward this afternoon, as he leads the line against Crystal Palace.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has deployed Marcus Rashford (£8.7m) on the left flank of attacking midfield once again, Jesse Lingard (£6.5m) and Daniel James (£6.0m) joining him in that area of the pitch.

The Manchester United manager has opted to leave his back-four and holding midfield pairing of Scott McTominay (£5.0m) and Paul Pogba (£8.6m) unchanged.

Opponents Crystal Palace continue to offer a starting £4.0m option in defence as Martin Kelly (£4.0m) retains his place in the side.

Surprisingly, he has started the Gameweek 3 encounter ahead of Scott Dann (£4.5m), who must make do with a place on the bench as Gary Cahill (£4.5m) comes in for his Palace debut.

Meanwhile, Wilfried Zaha (£6.9m) starts up-front alongside Jordan Ayew (£5.0m).

Fantasy managers were given another taste of ‘Graham Potter Roulette’ on Saturday afternoon as the Brighton manager made changes to his side once again.

He has stuck with the 3-4-3 formation but Glenn Murray (£5.9m) and Pascal Groß (£6.5m) have dropped to the bench, with Florin Andone (£5.0m) and Neal Maupay (£6.0m) coming in.

Potter has kept faith in his three centre-backs and four midfield players once again, suggesting that his rotation this season may focus on those he uses in the attacking front-three.

Keeping his place in the side after scoring on his debut is Leandro Trossard (£6.0m), stationed on the left for Brighton once more.

Opponents Southampton have gone with a front three of Nathan Redmond (£6.4m), Danny Ings (£6.0m) and Che Adams (£5.9m).

The interest in John Lundstram (£4.1m) is sure to continue as he starts again for Sheffield United.

The injured John Fleck (£5.0m) comes out of central midfield allowing Luke Freeman (£5.5m) to get his first start for the Blades.

Callum Robinson (£5.4m) recovers from the knock that forced him off against Crystal Palace to keep his place up-front alongside David McGoldrick (£5.5m).

Despite some poor performances so far this season, Ayoze Pérez (£6.4m) retains his starting berth for Leicester, deployed on the right flank of midfield.

Finally, Gerard Deulofeu (£6.4m) is deployed in midfield for Watford with Andre Gray (£5.9m) leading the line on his own in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

West Ham will be buoyed by the return of Felipe Anderson (£6.9m) and Sébastien Haller (£7.4m) to the starting line-up.

      Fail!
VAR quite happy to rule out great goals over a millimeter but not get involved in blatant penalties.

Twice now last defender dragged down Martial, denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.
First should have been Cahill red, second a penalty. Do they have a rule book at VAR base camp?
