couple of recent pods with newcastle fans suggest they would rather invest in their defence like lewis than Wilson because outside of pens the supply is rubbish

For me I'm going with Bamford because Leeds and him are the 2nd best attacking side stats even with his 'fnishing'. He couldve braced against Arsenal who are somewhat resolute.
For Wilson my power rankings for sub7 mill its:
Bam then Callum then Antonio.
If u have bam try to upgrade Jimi to Werner who I feel Wil start firing (w pens).

If it were an easy choice, I wouldn’t be asking. But my other choices are Vardy, Kane, Bruno and DCL. All those are better. So one of my original selection needs to get benched.

Yes
I think Jota will play. But I wouldn’t try and guess Pep’s team based on midweek minutes. I had Foden earlier in the season and when he didn’t play midweek he still didn’t play at the weekend. Far more variables than midweek minutes.

Yep, I got frustrated with him and sold a few weeks back. Came on at half time, scored, looked great, didn’t play midweek so I was sure he’d start at the weekend and then he was benched again. He could get a run in the side now, or could be permabenched, who knows?
I have 2 FTS and 2.9m banked. Pretty much set on Kane to Vardy. Would you save the other FT or make a move? I may have my hand forced if Barkley is out. If he is, sell him for Jota/Barkley or sell another mid for KDB, and risk only having 10 players?

Always a risk losing players like Son, especially for a hit, but De Bruyne does look tasty for the next few.
