Andy and Mark drop into their regular Friday night slot for another laid-back look at the key Fantasy Premier League (FPL) talking points ahead of Gameweek 14.

It’s Mark’s 50th birthday and he’s chosen to celebrate appropriately, with another FPL video for our Premiu Members.

Tonight he joins Andy to discuss the potential benefactors of the new regime at Manchester United, and while Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.3m) is predictably on the agenda, Mark also appears to have his sights set on a solution to his recent goalkeeping woes.

We get to see their teams ahead of Saturday’s deadline, with Andy’s transfer already made and Mark attempting to justify an impending move to five at the back.

    A. Vardy and Gallagher > CR7 and Maddison

    B. Keep Vardy and just do Gallagher > Bernardo / Gundo?

    Did ask yesterday but was waiting on presser on news on CR7 but still not clear on if he is match fit?

      I like Regullion - bought him in for Alonso this week as not convinced by the Chelsea double up anymore. That could allow an upgrade to ESR / Gallagher also.

      Nothing to change in back 5. Only really Raphinha Toney and Antonio to look at. I would bench Toney in that case above, yes.

        Thanks! Yeah was debating Alonso/Dias but still not that keen on 5 ATB. I do quite like the idea of Antonio + Raph to Jesus + Bowen for exact cash but it's a week too early to sell Raph.

      i wwas like that last night, had 2FT's and no clue what to do, so did Gallagher + Vardy > Bernado + Jesus. Chance of benching sure but some things need to be tried, Vardy has been given enough chances.

      I like your proposed move, but i too am now left with Toney benched now, may need help on that shortly. I think a City mid in your case would be prudent against that Watford side.

        I did three this week for a 4pt hit, first in ages:

        Gallagher, Toney (risky but Brentford are shite) and Alonso (not convinced) for Jota, Dennis (benched) and Regullion.

        Yeah, painful when you save a FT but then are not sure what to do! Think your move looks good, I like Jesus probably more than Bilva/Foden, but can only switch for Antonio by either doing Raph to Bowen (a week early) or Livramento to Johnson. The latter doesn't seem too bad tbh given West Ham have some nice defensive fixtures coming up.

          It sure is, but then again if you're not fully feeling a definite move with two free's then Phace below is right in saying make something happen maybe with just one FT and having two the following GW.
          Livra > Johnson isn't the worst move actually if it allows for a better one elsewhere.

      Cracking team. Still baffles me as to why so many hold Toney still... Bar an unforeseen 3 baps v Everton his record would be shockingly bad for his price. Can't even say BRE have amazing fixtures either...

      See if you can make something worthwhile happen for 1FT and roll the other? Dennis v City ain't worth it this week so unless you can do Bilva/Gundo on 1FT, I think having 2 FT in the back pocket is your most valuable move atm?

        I think the only appeal about Toney is being nailed to play 90 pretty much during this period and being a good penalty taker!
        My worry with holding Antonio is something like WHU rest him vs. Norwich because the EFL cup QF is a few days later or something.

    2FT + 0.3m ITB-- debating on whether to downgrade Toney or Antonio

    Salah -- Son -- Raphinha -- Saka -- Gallagher
    Toney -- C.Wilson -- Antonio

    A) Antonio --> Dennis (FT) would leave me enough to do Raphinha + Gallagher --> Jota + Bernardo next GW, for example.

    B) Toney --> Dennis (FT) would allow Raphinha --> Jota only and no other midfield update directly.

    Leaning towards A as more flexibility and have WC & Wilson --> Antonio easy move in 3-4 GW's time if needed -- thoughts appreciated!
