    Who's the better 4.5 keeper between raya & Sanchez?
    Both sides have a really great run of fixtures

        Yeah, it's a good jibe but wait till 2 pm.

        Or maybe he's repenting and searching for Jesus?

            It’s ok 🙂

            I’ve got Saka & Martinelli, thought both would be enough. Would you add Jesus & triple up?

              Triple up is a great differential with those fixtures so yeah. I’ve done Saka and Mitro to Rodrigo and Jesus(c). Only way I could get him back.

      Didn’t see any but wondered if it was because he didn’t square it to Haaland for a tap in?

        In the interview on the City website he seems to shrug that off by saying that he hasn't seen Haaland inside.

        Could of course be fuming about it behind the scenes.

        1. The Tinkerman
          • 9 Years

          I saw another interview where he looks mildly annoyed (but laughing) and insists he has to square it there and that the only possible explanation was he couldn’t have seen him… but his smile suggests he knows that Foden was being greedy.

      2. Jafooli
        • 12 Years

        Very likely was this, absolute tap in for one nil, had he done so. Shocking judgement and Haaland would have got off the mark at home. Pep will let him know privately, just like Whiskey Nose used to at OT. Sign on good management.

    FPL Journal 14 August - t’was rage, anger and frustrating disappointment I woke to this morning. Mine players had all let me down badly. But unlike Ten Hag, I actually have a WC, I couldn’t hit the button quickly enough. Now I am calm and happy, the Brentford win a Mr Kipling Angel Slice on top of the cake. The lesson? Always blame the players.

      Neco is absolutely fine, a 4.0 starter who you won’t need to rely on but should regularly have minimal returns on your bench if you need.

    Went KDB(c) over Haaland - who I don't own at all and yes it was nice yesterday in the end but not sure going forward I can cope with stress every time big Norwegian starts.
    Maybe it's just not worth trying to be different in this scenario.

      Yeah as a non-haaland owner I was happy with his limited points, but then I watched the highlights and saw he was so often in a great position just waiting for a tap in that didn't materialise. He'll be getting tons of goals this season

        Pep needs to re teach his inside forwards /wingers /attacking midfielders to pass.

        He will because he will insist and wants to win the Champions League with this squad.

          I think that he probably had a different approach in mind yesterday tho. The last thing that they want is to become a one-dimensional side, even if that dimension is Haaland.

    3. waltzingmatildas
      • 14 Years

      I slightly regretted not just doing Son to KDB instead of Son to Haaland (-4).
      However, Haaland looked like he was getting into the right spaces and could have scored.
      Not sure I'd make the change from KDB now though

    4. Coupes

        Appreciate the advice, I think that’s the way to go. Cash > Cucurella/Emerson/Ake/Sessegnon all have questions still to be answered and Bailey downgrade > Da Silva can wait. I think the flexibility of 2FT will help solve these issues better. Cheers mate.

    Had 0.5 itb so did Bailey/Tripper to Rodrigo/Mee last night to avoid price rise. Will more than likely bring back trippier after his tough run, but think at 4.5 Mee offers decent value and Brentford fixtures looking really good..

    Really like fixtures of Brentford and Brighton.

    What do you think about Jensen or March as option to replace Bailey.

    Jensen on set-piece and Brentford seem good at it.

    March have been quite attacking, but it's Brighton.

          Not checked it out yet.

          Hence Pope bonus points again.

        Very attacking with quality. Pope was a hero to save Newcastle.

      What about Gross, Rodrigo, Eze… just looked at their stats

        That requires 2 moves, so I start looking at 5.0m

      Mitoma could be a threat to March's minutes. He looked lively when came on.

      I'm considering Lallana or March as well as a possible Bailey replacement. Brighton's fixtures are appealing.

      Who else do you have in midfield?

      If you don't have them, consider one of Rodrigo, Harrison, or Martinelli. Or maybe even Dewsbury-Hall to generate an extra £1.5m to strengthen elsewhere in the team.

    Morning! So happy i saved 2FTs, pls help me put them to some good use

    Ward
    TAA, Cancelo, James, Perisic
    Salah, Diaz, Martinelli, Rashford
    Haaland, Jesus

    Iversen, Andreas, Neco, Archer
    2FT, 0.0 ITB

    Obvious Rashford has to go (fell into the same trap of being a MU fan once again), but what else?

    A - Rashford -> Rodrigo
    B - Rashford, Perisic -> Rodrigo, Trippier/Walker
    C - Rashford, Perisic, Iversen -> Rodrigo, Trippier/Walker, Sanchez/Raya (-4)
    D - WC (to bring in De Bruyne, Kulusevski, change Diaz for Darwin, etc.)
    E - your suggestions

    Why does FFS not allow users to tag their teams in profiles anymore?

      They do. They even made a specific box for it now - "Team ID" rather than "website". In "about you" section of profile

      You can. Click on the pen on your dp, click on profile information & then click on about you. You’ll see Team ID option there.

        I've found it as well but I can't enter or paste in my ID, I had to press the up arrow 5441 times to get to my ID number (took about 10 minutes), I'm glad I'm not a new entrant it would have taken days to reach almost 9 million that way !

    Thoughts on triple Arsenal attack?

      Saliba offers great value. Would go with him or Zinchenko for last spot

    Thoughts on;
    A) Aaronson > Gross, save other FT
    B) Bailey, Aaronson > Dasilva, Rodrigo

      Bailey bench in A, Dasilva in B

      C) keep Aaronson, play him. downgrade Bailey to 4.5. Would not consider Da silva now that he has risen. Bear in mind he’s prob spending most of the time on your bench.
