While Sunday brought a rather tepid conclusion to the weekend’s action, the lack of incident allowed us more time to digest the numbers behind the Gameweek so far. In this latest foray into the depths of our members data, we offer further insight on the performances of Adel Taarabt, Raheem Sterling and David Silva not only for this weekend, but the last four Gameweeks and season so far. As for Glen Johnson, well, we’ll let the numbers do the talking…

Rising too slowly on http://www.fiso.co.uk/crackthecode.php
But might do. Will test their accuracy!Open ControlsGot him in now to fund Berba -> Kun, seems good?
Open Controlsyeah good moves
Open Controls
Just needs 400 more - had 350 in the last hour, will be tight - Transfers tend to slow down late at night, but when its this close maybe people will act now just in case he rises.
Open Controls
wich City defender would you bring in?
max 5,7 so it's between
A)Nastasic
B)Zabaleta
C)ClichyOpen ControlsClichy
Open ControlsI think all will be rotated over Xmas and new year, so it's a toughie...!
Open Controlsi know but i'm trying to find out wich of these 3 would the most influent and decisive atm
Open Controls
Clichy
Open ControlsNastasic
Open ControlsWell that's sorted.
Open Controlsnot yet... still wondering who should i bring but i'm leaning towards Clichy or Zabaleta more of an attacking threat.
Open Controls
Jaask Fed
Ridgewell Enrique Cameron Clyne Cuellar
Fellaini Michu Cazorla Silva Sterling
Suarez RVP Fletcher
Actually know idea what to do with the Fellaini situation. 1 FT, 0.8 in the bank. No obvious direct replacement & more less have to take an 8 point hit to do anything i'm comfortable with..
Any ideas?Open ControlsPunch, bank the cash, He's bound to keep rising and has a decent fixture this week. You can spend the cash next week. Upgrade Fletcher or Sterling.
Open ControlsHaha, I actually have Puncheon in the team at the minute! Just trying to figure out how to use the cash afterwards & if its worth it..
Open Controls
Downgrade Fletcher to Long and upgrade Fellaini to Bale/Dempsey??
Open Controls
Can anyone confirm that Riise is still on free kicks and corners? Thinking of getting him as from GW 19
Open Controls(new) next week

Which two to play next week:
Taarabt (new)
Berb (liv)
Sess (soton)
Thanks.Open ControlsGet rid of Berba , Morrison or Dempsey ?
Open ControlsDempsey, Berba out Suarez , Nolan in -4
Open Controls
Harry on Taarabt, http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2012/12/17/3608094/-?
Open ControlsWhat's the consensus on Sterling then? I've never owned him, but it seems his stats are good and decent returns are only just around the corner.
Looking at a potential hit this week: Sess & Fellaini -> Mata/Bale & Sterling
Worth it?
Jaask, Fed
Enrique, Cuellar, Hughes, Clyne, McCartney
Silva, Walcott, Fellaini, Sessegnon, Taarabt
RVP, Ba, Suarez
Bank 0.3m, 1 freebieOpen ControlsSterling is a pretty good fifth midfielder, but his price is too high atm imo. Even though I have him I would rather have Puncheon for 4.7
Open ControlsSame feeling as the others. He was good value, but isn't great anymore. No need to transfer him if you've got him, but little need to get him otherwise (unless you just want him until January WC with good fixtures to come). I'll probably get Puncheon now (for Fellaini) and send Sterling packing come January.
Open Controls
I brought him in for 4.6 so he was great for that price but at 5.7 I am not sure he is worth it..
Those moves however do look good for a hit. Have you considered Puncheon? 1.0m cheaper but could score quite similar to Sterling..Open ControlsYeah, looking at Puncheon also but his fixtures don't rotate as well with Taarabt, and I don't think he's as advanced as Sterling. Lining up a semi contraversial Ba ->Berba after this week, so funds in the bank not essential for me, given I'm wildcarding asap in the Jan WC....
You reckon the hit is worth doing instead of just Fellaini -> Yaya/Nolan?Open ControlsReckon you should keep Sess for 1 more game, He had a lot of chances the last game and looked pretty decent and got the assist. Fellaini out for someone like Pilkington? Then you have options next week to take Sess out for anyone basically. Mata, Bale, Santi, Hazard will all be gettable next week. This is what i'm doing 😉
Open Controls
I do me get all the Sterling love. Fast and big dribbler, but he does not produce for that price. I would assume many here have him because they got him cheap. But I agree that Puncheon seems a much better value. I would do Yaya for Fellaini this Gw and keep Sess.
Open ControlsYeah I think so cant really go wrong for his price. luckily I've had him since 4.5, just brought in puncheon.
This front 8 to heavy till jan wildcard
Sterling bale mata silva puncheon
Rvp giroud Rooney.Open ControlsMichu is done at his price IMO, that ship has sailed long ago! Saw a stat aswell that suggests he won't keep up his scoring. 57% goals to shots ratio. Messi and Ronaldo are mid 30s.
Open ControlsYeah, that's what I said at 7.0. He is not done. He is class. This is not a flash in the pan. Even if the scoring slows (and it may well), he is full value for his current price.
Open ControlsI agree he is class, but his goal to shot ratio is unsustainable in that Swansea team. They will finish 12-9th I think, 100% agree if u got him at 6.5-7 keep but don't be surprised to see him slow down! If he gets 20 league goals ill be surprised.
Open Controls
Wasn't he highest scoring midfielder in la liga last season? It seems he may be just be that good.
Open Controls
Don't go near the lad, he is way overpriced for a player who brings consistent 2's. He is really nothing more than a 4.5-5m cheap bench filler.
Open ControlsWhatcha reckon my best move is this week then Ryan?
Open ControlsNothing wrong with mata sterling in for sess and fellaini. Sometimes we think about it so much we over complicate things! Your only decision I think is mata or bale.
Open ControlsEven with the better rotation between taarabt and sterling. Remember he is using the JanWilder early!
Open ControlsRotation is a waste of time during xmas. All 15 players will be needed with the odd player rested or suspended. More often than not he will be playing both of them.
Open ControlsYour not wrong! Much of a muchness I suppose aside from the 1.0 ur saving. Have them both anyway!
Open Controls
Is it more important to have Mata or Rooney (alongside RVP) next week?
Open ControlsCheeky punt on Taraabt (in for Fellaini)? The 'Arry effect plus he's now playing in the hole. Or Ya Ya Toure for the fixtures?
Open ControlsBoth Punts in my opinion.
Taraabt is a notoriously frustrating player from a fantasy perspective. But as you say there is reason to try him out (even on 4 yellows) because of the new manager.
Yaya will get you 2pts with some baps thrown in. Attacking points should be considered a bonus.Open Controls
Are you ready for Taarabture?
Open ControlsIn order to win a crucial head to head this weekend I need Walcott to not play and Shorey to get at least 6 points. Do I have a chance? Is there any likelihood that Arsenal will struggle to score a goal perhaps helped by the fact that Walcott isn't playing? or am I really only relying on attacking returns for Shorey?
Open ControlsWalcott is likely to play. So says Demi.
Yippeee!!!!Open Controls
A) Fellaini > Mata/Bale
B) Fellaini > Tarrabt
C) Fellaini + Sess > Mata/Bale + Tarrabt (-4 Hit)
My Front 8 is: Silva, Michu, Fellaini, Sess, Sterling, RVP, Suarez, Berb
Also plan on getting rid of Sess next gw but im struggling to find a replacement?
1FT 2.5 in the bank
Any thoughts?Open ControlsWondering if Adam Johnson to Silva is worth a hit. I know I could wait a week as AJ has a good fixture, but Silva's is even better. And I've got defensive issues that I need to start addressing next week or the busy Christmas schedule will wreak havoc with what I've got right now. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Open ControlsAccording to this article, the chances created don't back that up. He is creating chances galore, just not yet getting the points. Home to Reading seems as good a time as any for the points to follow (but I do get your point ... better a week late than six early). Cheers.
Open ControlsA hit will negate any assist. If it were for free then I'd say it'd be worth it. AJ has a good fixture too
Open Controls
Could be a blowout for city... worth the risk for me.
Open Controls
What percentage of everyone's overall score is RVP's?
Mine is 62% (24/38)Open ControlsCan't remember if it was Granville or Mark who stated that Yaya's return were better against tougher opposition.
FWIW.Open ControlsWell gameweeks 1 and 3 he got 7 and 9 points against Southampton and QPR. Honestly, I think you're paying for a guy who probably won't get many attacking points unless you get lucky, but is guaranteed to be playing for a team that will a) win, b) score lots of goals, and c) keep clean sheets.
Open ControlsSorry meant this GW...woops
Open ControlsReply fail
Open Controls
Exactamundo.
As Ryan said, (and I agree) Silva isn't really fantasy gold so I am contemplating whether the price difference is worth it at the moment?!Open ControlsHe is very consistent though when he gets going.
Open Controls
Hey guys, been a while between post but got a tough call on Def this week: which 2 would u play from Demel, clyne & Cuellar. Currently thinking Demel & Cuellar.
Also, looking at Tevez for Berb, % chance of a Tevez rest this week v reading?Open ControlsSurely Mancini won't rest Tevez after the criticism he got after the United game. How could Tevez even need a rest anyway? With Balo and Dzeko both under performing, i don't think Tevez will be benched.
Open ControlsCheers SC. Hopefully that's the case.... may have to opt for Tevez in then. Defender???
Open ControlsI don't have Tevez but agree with this. Balotelli has be awful and will not start anytime soon. Dzeko never preforms well when he starts. You can never know with Mancini though..
Open ControlsCheers Royal. Any thoughts on the Def dilemma?
Open Controls
Totally agree. But I didn't foresee Tevez being benched for a run of games after 2 goals and 2 assists. You can never be certain with Mancini. Rotation seems likely over the heavy run of fixtures, but I think you can say that about most players. Seems like it has to be Aguero and Tevez for the majority of games now, though. They are clearly the two best.
Open ControlsYeah, it's true that we can never know with any surety what Mancini will do. There's a theory that Aguero is more likely to be rested since they're playing Reading, and Aguero is first choice and might be kept 'safe' for the bigger games down the line.
Open ControlsNice thoughts... so i'll be doubling with Silva & Tevez it looks.
Do u think i have the def right?Open ControlsThat is a tough call. Think I would lean to Cuellar and Clyne as potential for offence from Clyne is a bit higher than from Demel. I don't think Everton have been blanked many times this year. Probably not much in it, I expect. Go with what your gut tells you.
Open ControlsI think you're right on the defenders. Not much in it between Clyne/Cuellar, but West Ham and Demel have the ability to keep a clean sheet against anyone on their day.
Open Controls
I'm thinking the same thing. Am over Berba and though Tevez will be rotated over Xmas, (as will Aguerro) I still see him bagging a few goals, further justifying his budget friendly price tag.
Open ControlsAgreed baps... just don't want the rest to be this GW when bringing him in. But looks to always be the risk with Mancini.
Open Controls
Thanks a bunch for all the replies. Much appreciated.
Open Controls
Think Enrique will drop this week?
Open ControlsThis time last week i asked the deadzone if buying taarabt was a good idea.
All said no , waste of time.
Now i see those same faces are advising anyone who will listen to bring him in
ejitsOpen ControlsStats have certainly been there and now some production, but the fixtures ahead don't really tempt me.
Open ControlsFPL at it's best.... i've had him for a while & he finally did something for me.... ofcourse the same week i shoot myself in the foot with a Suarez Capo fail instead of Robin!
Open Controls
it would be pretty funny and sad at the same time if bale, taarabt and michu get a yellow next gk !
Open Controlsso i have narrowed it down to these 2 from city defense, who would you pick?
A)Zabaleta
B)ClichyOpen ControlsI'm riding Nastasic and hoping for the best in terms of rotation. I had Zabaleta earlier in the year and that was a clusterf***. I had Clichy for long periods last year and that too was a clusterf***. Aside from Kompany, you are always going to lose some CS to rotation.
Open ControlsAgreed.
Open Controls
Fellaini & Cuellar -> Bale + Nelsen. Yay or Nay?
Open ControlsTeam at the moment for GW18 (BANK = £1.3m, 1 FT):
Bego
Enrique Bassong O'Brien
Michu Mata Walcott Fellaini
Suarez Ba RvP
subs – McCarthy Sterling Nelsen Shorey
3 Liv players are overkill given their current form (i think so), & City players are too good to ignore atm, so should i:-
A) enrique > vert/zab
B) sterling > punch/taarabt
C) walcott > silva
D) suarez > aguero
E) walcott > bale (is it time to get him already?)
F) save FTOpen ControlsRidding yourself of the Afro should be the option you are considering above all else.
Open Controlslol is this a copy of how i put my team up on here. I swear it is... 🙂
Open Controlsyeah, i think it's a simple yet direct way to do it. do i need to pay you anything upfront? =)
care to share opinion mate?Open Controls
Have some plan to kick out my Fellaini until WC January, which one is the better option ??
A. Fellaini + Defoe –> Puncheon + Aguero
B. Fellaini + Baines –> Bale + Sagna
C. Fellaini + Gorkss –> Nolan + Hughes/Clark
D. Fellaini + Defoe –> Dempsey + BentekeOpen Controls
