Gameweek 27 gets off to a potentially inauspicious start as Fulham pay host to Stoke City at the Cottage. Having been robbed of Premier League action last Saturday, today’s opener isn’t perhaps our fixture of choice, with both sides struggling for form. The Potters turn up with just one win in their last seven, whilst Martin Jol’s side have scored in just one of their last four. We’re hoping for goals and entertainment; we fear a 0-0 battle of attrition.
Our Dugout Discussion Chatroom is now open to collect you real-time reactions to this game and Saturday’s other five fixtures.
The team news from the Cottage finds Martin Jol able to welcome back Sascha Riether after he missed the 0-0 draw against Norwich through illness. Giorgos Karagounis and Ashkan Dejagah also earn starts in midfield as Emmanuel Frimpong and Hugo Rodallega drop out, the latter earning a place on the bench. Visitors Stoke make two changes – both significant. As we expected, Marc Wilson, the much publicised 3.9 prospect, returns at left-back with Andy Wilkinson making way. Geoff Cameron is the other popular Fantasy pick to reappear: the American international is given a midfield berth on the right with Michael Kightly making way.

Tbh Federici will most likely concede, it is just a matter of save points.
