Chelsea and Villa’s assets feature prominently in the top 10 of our ICT Index after Gameweek 1, with the two teams supplying five players between them after opening the season with a pair of fixtures apiece. While many of the usual suspects have made an instant impact, we turn our attentions to the newly-promoted sides and attempt to look for the positives after all three tasted defeat in their opening fixture of the 2013/14 campaign.
Please rate my team!
Boruc (Foster)
Zabaleta - Ivanovic - Coleman (Toure, Chester)
Walcott - Snodgrass - Mirallas - Hazard (R.Morrison)
Dzeko - Soldado (C) - Sturridge
Ready to go?!
Thank you!!Open ControlsNope, back to the bench when Amorebieta's fit again.
Open Controls
Good to go?
Boruc
Toure Zabaleta Chester
Walcott HBA Nolan Mirallas
Soldado (VC) Sturridge Aguero (C)
Foster Kim Terry Ward
Appriciate any advice 🙂Open ControlsI got Nolan too, is he on penalties? was thinking of dropping otherewise
Open ControlsNoble on pens, I wouldnt drop nolan V newcastle

Personally, I'm not sure about Walcott right now, Wednesday aside. I think Arsenal will struggle at Fulham. Last year it was 0-1 to Arsenal and I think Fulham are stronger this year.
Look at Silva or Navas?Open ControlsThanks for the advice, Im hanging on to Walcott and Nolan. Walcott is in great form bar GW 1.
Open Controls
Not this GW.

Righto, sorry, best 4.5 mid (or thereabouts) ... these are the options I'm considering:
- Barkley - based on 1 game so far looks ok, will be replaced but could go ok for the next few game weeks and will prosper under Martinez's attacking style
- Parker - defensive mid but could get on set pieces, was prolific when at west ham, likely nailed on
- Delph ... was getting forward and surprisingly looked quite dangerous against Arsenal, obviously blank next week but can carry him
- Dikgacoi - pretty much nailed on, not overly interesting but could pick up the occasional assist and bap
- Cabral - risky, will be rotated but suits Di Canio's ethos in that he works hard and loves getting forward, has an eye for goal and will get plenty of assists if played regularly. Only problem is sunderland look a little toothless at the moment. But I like the kid
- Livermore - could prosper at a new club and might benefit from the "big fish in the little pond" syndrome. Not really dangerous and he annoys me at a personal level
- the usually from promoted clubs who will be lucky to get 2 points a week
Suggestions?Open ControlsHave you wildcarded? If not, then surely you shouldn't be wasting your transfer on one of this lot.
If you are on WC, Cabral or Jedinak, nailed on and the odd chance of a goal.Open ControlsWC indeed
Open Controls
Cabral from Sunderland
Open ControlsIf your bench is strong, go for Barkley - you can afford his ommission from the Everton first 11. And with so many uncertainties before the shopping closes (e.g. Fellaini) as well as potential injuries to other midfielders, his manager will be eager to use him whenever he can.

Sky game... Have we had clarification yet?
If I change Captain for tomorrow will I be able to change again for Sunday or Monday? 😕Open ControlsCan you actually change your Captain now? When I try to take it off Hazard it says this:
Alert
You can only make 1 captain change per week.Open ControlsI'd like to know this too...
Open Controls
Choose a captain...
Wally/Miralles/Oscar/Silva
Aguero/Soldado/Dzeko
Have it on Ag at the moment but htinking of switching to Miralles. Thoughts?Open ControlsIs it worth take a hit for Lukaku --> Soldado considering fixture, nailed - on and price drop?
Open ControlsLook within yourself and the answer will be apparent.
Open Controls
Wildcard team.Any changes needed guys?
Boruc (Davis)
Toure Zaba Dawson (Chester,Ward)
Coutinho Mirallas Nolan Walcott (Kim)
Aguero Benteke SoldadoOpen ControlsI am hoping all the people taking point hits will improve my rank.
Open ControlsPick 2 to start from: Rodriguez, M. Turner, Ivanovic, K. Toure
Open ControlsCheers. Was thinking of giving Rodriguez this week, considering he may start with Osvaldo only just signing. And it would take a hit for me to get rid of him
Open Controls
rod definitely. hmm 2nd choice between turner and kolo (even though i strongly suspect mourinho may turn up for a 0-0 draw/ 0-1 win on the counter).
rodriguez and toureOpen Controlsgah
maybe turner 🙁 villa seem to always find a goal these days, even if it's only one. pool may be a better defence than norwich but then benteke is way more dangerous than danny graham and sone alukoOpen ControlsHaha it's a close call. I'm not really expecting either to keep a clean sheet though
Open Controls
Thanks, that was what I was thinking for now too
Open Controls
starting ward this gw is utterly depressing so any past stat of hope will do. holloway's blackpool got clean sheets in both games v stoke in their premier league season
Open ControlsNay. Defenders are rarely worth a hit

If everyone in my Mini-league seems to be captaining Soldado, who I also have. Bit is it wise to captain Walcott as a differential to try outscore them. Or is that a bad idea because then I could end up basically hoping my own player doesn't score well if Walcott doesn't deliver as captain?
Open ControlsI've been thinking about doing something similar. Worked out swimmingly when I did it last week, by captaining Benteke instead of Hazard. Thinking of captaining one of Giroud, Benteke or Walcott. In order of likelihood.
Open ControlsI just think Giroud and Benteke might outscore him this week, given their form lately. Having said that, he'll probably end up scoring a brace or something. Really enjoying weighing up captaincy options though, instead of just slapping the (c) on RVP like I did last season!
Open Controls
Funny how fast you can change from Willian to Villain...
Open Controls- Open Controls
How does this team look?
4-3-3
Boruc
Coleman,Toure,Collins,Mturner
Walcott,Coutinho,Snodgrass
RVP, Aguero, Soldado
Subs: Davis, Williams,Delph, ChesterOpen ControlsWeak strikers ;0
Open Controls
Anybody doubling up on city defence?
Open ControlsNah, reduces your choices in their attack.
Open Controls
Does the absence of Stekelenburg, Amorebeita & in particular Richardson makes Walcott a viable Captain contender?
What's the consensus, FFS?Open ControlsWalcott vs. Briggs.
You decide.
(The answer is yes, he is a VERY viable captain contender)Open Controls
surely, that header was rather sexy, rescued a point
Open Controls
Boruc
Erva / Zabaleta / O'Brien
Mirallas / Hazard / Snodgrass / Coutinho
Soldado(c) / Benteke(vc) / Giroud
Subs: Westwood / Kim / Chester / Amorebieta
Decent enough?Open Controlshave a feeling Rat will start this week.
Open Controls
Should I play Clyne or Rat? (Kosc sitting this one out...)
Is Clyne fit and will he start?
Will Rat start, or is he being kept for the cup midweek?
Seeing conflicting reports out there.Open ControlsI'd go for Clyne. Southampton are probably a better bet for the clean sheet
Open Controls
Reid or Toure to start?
Open ControlsHow many Turners have we got this year? Ben Turner at Cardiff, Michael Turner at Norwich... any others?
Open ControlsCahill slow Turner

From a Spurs and a FPL perspective, if losing out on Willian means they get Lamela instead, I think that's good news. Willian good creatively but not a prolific goal-scorer, and Spurs need to make up for the loss of Bale's goals. Lamela would take the burden off Soldado a bit.
Open ControlsFPL view : Would prefer Willian as a Soldado owner, would want the burden of goal-scorer on him!
Spurs view : Surely Spurs fans would be hoping for both if Bale's off?Open ControlsMakes Chadli more interesting and more nailed on. Regretting getting Mirralas in over him now.
Open Controlsyep, agree.
value for money wise lamela also 4 years youngerOpen ControlsFrom my FPL perspective. Get Willian. He might not score much himself, but he'll be passing the ball more than often directly to my good mate Soldado. 😎
Open Controls
Negredo gets one more GW.
Much better striker than Dzeko, given the chance he'll prove it.Open Controls30pts back in mini league already!Have taken 4pt hit for team:
Boruc (Cech)
Coleman / Toure / Turner / Gabiddon (Cuellar)
Mirallas / Walcott / Silva (c) / Coutinho (Mulumbu)
Aguero / Soldado (Anelka)
Want to get in Benteke (for Anelka) but will take a few weeks with some hits and sacrifice premium mid for 4:3:3 formation.
Should I bide my time, take some hits or just WC?Open Controls

In the Sky game, is Hazard -> Silva the obvious transfer since most of us captained Hazard on Saturday night and we can't take the captaincy off him now?
