Newcastle suffer a double injury blow to Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy. Aaron Ramsey remains out for Arsenal. Kyle Walker and Sandro are doubts for Spurs. Victor Wanyama is a worry for Southampton. Craig Gardner and Wes Brown are available for Sunderland. West Brom’s injury list continues to grow, whilst Michu is back in full training for Swansea:
Alan Pardew was left reeling after both Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy were ruled out of Newcastle’s next three to four games with calf and groin injuries sustained on recent international duty. Fabricio Coloccini will return after missing the Hull victory due to a family bereavement.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will miss the North London derby, despite earlier whispers that the Welshman would make his long-awaited return at the weekend. Ramsey is out for a couple of weeks, whilst Mesut Ozil is sidelined for three-to-six weeks with a hamstring injury. Nacho Monreal is available, though fellow left-back Kieran Gibbs is still a doubt. January signing Kim Kallstrom is finally injury-free and Yaya Sanogo “has a chance” of making the trip to Tottenham.
Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has a near fully-fit squad to choose from for the weekend, after confirming that Craig Gardner and Wes Brown have both resumed training. The pair missed last week’s loss to Hull with knocks but are in contention to face Palace at the weekend, as are Jozy Altidore and Valentin Roberge who have recovered from illness.
West Brom’s injury woes have worsened with Pepe Mel ruling Steven Reid, Claudio Yacob and Billy Jones out of the trip to Swansea at the weekend. The trio have knee and hamstring injuries respectively and join Chris Brunt and Diego Lugano on the sidelines.
Garry Monk could be boosted by the return of Michu following several weeks out through injury. The Spaniard is back in full training, with Monk set to make a decision on his involvement later today. Elsewhere, Pablo Hernandez is expected to feature after limping off against palace, with later scans revealing no significant damage. Jonjo Shelvey is unlikely to be involved following the recurrence of a hamstring problem, whilst Nathan Dyer remains a doubt with a bruised foot. Chico Flores will miss the game through suspension, meaning Jordi Amat will fill in ahead of the injured Kyle Bartley.
Alex Tettey is available for Norwich following an injury scare against Stoke last week. Michael Turner and Jonas Gutierrez remain sidelined for the Canaries, though the pair have returned to training following hamstring and calf injuries respectively.
West Ham have the luxury of an almost fully-fit squad to choose from, with Sam Allardyce confirming that Joey O’Brien and Marco Borriello are the club’s only injury absentees for the trip to the Britannia.
Tim Sherwood is sweating over the fitness of Kyle Walker and Sandro after both players were subbed off during last night’s Europa League defeat against Benfica.
Jack Cork has been ruled out for a few weeks with an ankle injury for Southampton, whilst Victor Wanyama is a doubt. Dejan Lovren was ill earlier in the week but “should be fine” to face Norwich.

Lukaku scores one and shoots to the top of the captain poll. What happened to 'never bench, never captain'?
It would be Rooney for me if I had him, and Suarez if I could bare to captain him against United. That pretty much leaves Hazard or a punt on Lambert.
