  1. The Fantasy Football Scout Community Round-up 4 days, 23 hours ago

Liverpool football club, Newcastle, spurs, Norwich Actually the whole premier league, hang your heads in shame. This is absolutely embarrassing and honestly is hugely damaging for the premier League product. The fact the premier League are so desperate to get the games going even looking into opportunities to host games in China is completely absurd See millionaire and one of the top paid been employees Gary linear has his say on things. Protecting himself, he knows the premier League goes down he goes with it » Read

So footballers, movie stars, sports men/women earning ridiculous amounts of money. The fans go and support these people week in and week out, when the time of need comes they go silent. The football associations, the big corporate companies like Sky. There are a few which have come out and said they would help publicly, Zaha, Amir Khan, Watford providing access to their stadium, a few Neville/Carragher and a few others in the UK. Formula 1 teams have been helping with creating ventilators. But the majority are silent. For me this greed really turns me off what was once the beautiful game, in a time of crisis i'd have like to have seen these people trying to support their local communities, the country. Clubs/players/associations taking action. I am saddened to see a lack of people willing to step up from a financial perspective. The money the premier league makes/earns through sponsorship/TV deals is disgusting as it is but then not really taking action to help? This also appli… » Read

  3. Fernandes the key target for FPL managers using free transfers in Gameweek 31 15 days, 23 hours ago

A quick question, they say family cannot visit each other in different households. How is this being managed? They expect people to do the right thing but it's impossible to manage. I just saw family members visiting neighbours, probably for a cuppa and then left. They are not elderly but it's infuriating. Also it seems their son who has his own place is visiting during lunchtimes from his job at the local warehouse and just turned up again this evening probably to sleep over. He has his own place but continues visiting If they stop people to ask where they are going, they could just tell them they are going home. But to whose home? » Read

  5. The winners and losers on the FPL Bonus Points System 17 days, 19 hours ago

Why do you feel sick about it? I do feel however many key workers are being left out, many companies seem to offer freebies to NHS Staff only whilst a good thing seems to be missing alot of important people out. What about the truck drivers who are serving this countries supermarkets, the delivery drivers, the supermarket workers, the bin men. Whilst they are not out in the hospitals these people should be recognised too. Without these people this country would be in a further state of dire straits. » Read

  6. What should FPL managers do with their free transfers? 19 days, 22 hours ago

Although I do agree people getting whipped up by the media is an issue. The media are hardly the most honest characters at the best of times so them putting out articles (just take a look at the DM website) is helping them get their "clicks" and ratings on TV. » Read

I was listening to the radio today and a lady rang in to the station absolutely frightened. A single mother with health issues who is sending her kids to school. She is worried her kids could catch the virus and transmit to her. She had no family and no friends. The fear of something happening to her (however low the risk) puts a great strain on them as they ponder who will look after her children if something happens to her. People are worried, especially after seeing events in Italy. Being told to wash hands and keep the bulldog spirit of Britain is all well and good but the lack of action is making people anxious. » Read

This is a very good point. Pension funds, stocks, jobs. This is a worrying time for people of all ages and it is foolish to think people only 60+ are impacted one way or another and the younger people can get on with their lives. So much talk about mental health lately yet I see no mention of this anywhere. The stock market crash is likely to have an impact on the mental health of many, so will loss of jobs for some as companies will not be able to pay their workers anymore. Yes, the elderly are at risk of the virus that is true, most have family in this age group. To think this virus does not impact anyone below a certain age is selfish and frankly idiotic » Read

not at all, over the last couple of years I have distanced myself away from this game more and more as I felt it was having a detrimental impact on my mindset. It's help massively and allowed me to concentrate on things which are actually important. Yes it might be a hobby but it can be an unhealthy hobby much of the time especially if things go badly. This is the ideal opportunity for you to take a step away from this site and FPL and explore other hobbies/interests. It's for the best » Read
