I once mentioned finishing 20th in FPL in a job interview. They said it was by far the most impressive thing I'd said all day.

Because I'm a massive nerd, I worked out this for my own team.Totaled 325 points from captains this season. Hazard and Sterling my highest average per game (11.5 and 13 respectively).Salah was interesting - very consistent at home (8 games at an average of 11 points each) but awful away (4 games at 4.3 points average). But my biggest failure was DGWs - 19 from 3 DGW captains! » Read

Yes both have to be midfielders. Neither is a striker in their teams ideal 11- Mo only seem to go up front when he was struggling for form. » Read

Jimenez is the big one. Thought he looked great early on but when he started scoring never had room. And Fraser...points always came at the wrong time. » Read

It's just so much easier for Pogba to score points even if he plays terribly. I'd suggest if you have the funds it's a no brainer.Caveat that I don't have enough faith to bring Pog for Son for a hit, so I'd only do this for free. » Read

The site's editorial remains focused on dilemmas, last minute decisions and general too-little-too-late tension. I'd like to compliment this with a lounge section for FPL managers who themselves are already on the beaches thinking about next season 😀 » Read
