Cheers! Could definitely do with Bidwell keeping his place, didn't realise he was at risk. Would anyone be brave enough to put a % on him keeping his role as is? » Read

I looked at Watkins (Currently have Mitro who will do for a bit longer). Found myself blocked out as Steer is my 4m keeper. Seeing "Too many players selected from Aston Villa" was not something I expected to see this season... » Read

Honestly best if I don't say them, I'm not too proud! Robertson, Martinez and Barkley came in. Starting to get mounting issues with my team, just another injury / premium swap away from a WC. Figured I'd move early with the hit knowing any injury during UCL would have forced my WC out anyways and even if I avoided a hit I'd be looking at one in the next week or two anyways. Done and done now, team now looking a little less ropey and can think about fixing the other holes in the next 2 weeks. » Read

Cheers Greyhead. Really interesting move by Joe - I can see why he WCed and I can see the appeal of freshening up that forward line, but as someone who we all know loves his flexibility around price points, I was surprised by that midfield! 4.4, 4.9, 7.1, 11.5, 11.7 - makes a few price points there hard to hit, but doesn't encompass the top price either (Salah) meaning he'd need 2FT to go there as well. Looking forward to seeing his plan there, not sure if he's talked about it already. Fabio storming away though. » Read

New Community Article Good one this. What aspects do you prioritise and consider when you make a transfer? What are your basics, your essential factors, and what are the cherries that go on top? FPLHaggis took a look and I think it makes a great little read for your evening. Clearly put a good bit of time and thought into this, I'm sure he'd love to hear your feedback on it. » Read

  15. Hierarchy of Needs when transferring a player in 20 days, 19 hours ago

Thank you FPL Haggis, cracking read and great graphics. I think I largely agree with most of it, but there's obviously a case against form being on the bottom step - obviously very important but you can get ahead of the curve if eye test and fixture back the case up. Great idea! » Read

Oh I don't think going something like triple attack is bad at all - I just have to give fair representation to all the teams! If I can't find around 7 players in each position from different teams that are good options, I have no business sitting here telling people what I think! I could list out all the Liverpool defenders for example and have them dominate the list, but that's of interest to absolutely nobody. Instead I'll include a player like Konsa because he's a set piece target in a strong (ish) looking defence. Would I prefer a Liverpool defender? Of course! But with the top 2 picks (this upcoming week) set to be the Liverpool full backs, I think people get the idea. Far less likely that a manager (a casual one I mean, but you could even extend it to players on here) would consider Konsa. » Read

I have no interest in Bruno Fernandes honestly, until I see him starting to properly sizzle. Rashford may well come in for me this week. Not keen on comparing directly because 10.5m strangely feels more than a mil more than 9.5m, if that makes any sense » Read

It's really not! We get people coming on who want to replace a player, say, Son and have no idea who to get. The idea is someone with no real FPL knowledge could come on, look at the list, and pick the first player they can afford. The idea there is to help people that may now pick say Podence as a cheap midfielder instead of someone like Moutinho (though I did see FPL Scout recommending him today...) based on that. There's some parts that a manager like yourself could pick out, but I don't need to tell you that TAA is a good pick for example! More of a price point thing. It's not explained, but I have to balance the number of players at each price point so there's a nice clean spread, I don't actually think March is the 10th best mid for example. As a result, some players will inexplicably pop on and off, not necessarily because I think they're out of the top 10 but because there's other players similar to them that I need to put on ahead. Mahrez for example - I want to include h… » Read
