  1. A Guide to FPL Fixture Rotation ahead of 2019/20 4 days, 54 mins ago

yep, agree with what you say, for city I reckon laporte+sterling, and then bilva or kdb - I think bilva has a good chance of higher points this season - kun will be too expensive if I have sterling, ederson certainly an option as city had plenty of clean sheets and may be worth the probable 6m outlay (rather than guessing which 4.5m goalie will be the value pick in the coming season, ederson is nailed and set and forget option, he did well for me last season, and may in fact be a better pick than laporte, although I did get stung by the odd laporte goal last season)kdb I think I will assess as pre-season progresses, if it looks like he will be back to starting I think it would be worth a punt to see how he does in early gameweeks, easy to adjust if he's not looking back to old formI plan on going cheap in attack, with no premiums, either 4-5-1, or 5-4-1, so depending on prices should have enough for well balanced side in the rest of my teamTV has been much harder to build in t… » Read

I think it's gonna be 6 x pool+city, plus whatever else fits within budget, so maybe options from everton/wolves/Leicester/Bournemouth type teamsof course summer transfers and prices will impact this, but at this point considering last seasons performances from city and pool it would seem foolish not to load up on them, interested to see what price KDB comes in at, if he stays fit he could be a premium at a 'semi-premium' price » Read

  9. Which FPL assets are in Nations League action this week? 12 days, 22 hours ago

yep, I agree with all of what you say - for Spurs 100m doesn't buy too much these days, but if they can get 2 top level players they can push on (but if you straight away have to replace for example Eriksen then that's already 60m ish of the transfer kitty gone), Kane seemed slightly below par (plus injuries) this season so if he's back to 100% that will help themI think Utd need to clear out some below par players and seemingly bad apples, have a good refreshPool should have the Ox back too, but they could do with a couple of signings, one attacker, one in the middleWith City I think they have such a spread of players that can score that even without Aguero they are still such a threat, and they seem to have tightened their defence, as long as the players are hungry they will be there or thereabouts imo » Read

I can see another 2 horse race for the title with city and pool going for it againjust can't see utd pulling themselves together, Arsenal are well short in terms of squad strength, transfer ban and losing Hazard and maybe Sarri for Chelsea, Spurs won't spend enough to get the squad strength they needmy predictions at this point: 1-City 2-Liverpool 3-Spurs 4-Man Utd 5-Chelsea 6-Arsenalwith maybe Everton/Leicester/Wolves getting into a 5th or 6th spot » Read

I found that over the last 2 or 3 seasons it has been much harder to build funds, I think they changed the price change algorithms or whatever they're called, which is a shame as it takes away an alternative way of playing (ie risking early transfers to maximise funds and hit back in 2nd half of season with a 'power' squad)I used to build teams with 115m value, now can't get much above 107m » Read

obviously without knowing prices or transfers at this stage, but little straw poll on favoured formations for coming season?A- 3-4-3 B- 3-5-2 C- 4-4-2 D- 4-5-1 E- 4-3-3 F- 5 at the back with any other comb of mids/fwdspersonally, depending on prices, i'm thinking 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 » Read

that was a good goal and nice skill to be fair, however, a bit of an exception and not exactly tight defending - I'm not saying they can't do it or don't do it, just that the overall level needs improving to make it the genuinely marketable product that the article proclaims, I'm all for that improvement, to be fair it's taken 100+ years for mens football to get to the levels of last 20/30 years, just think it's gonna take a little more than 'capturing hearts and minds' of the last few years to make womens football a genuinely marketable and cash generating product, but they're on their way and improving all the time and I am In favour of that » Read

in some ways yes, but I'd want to see how Chelsea are affected by new manager(probably) and transfer ban, and although pedro and willian maybe more likely to start goal/assist potential may actually be reduced by not having hazard to rip apart the opposition defence - worth monitoring though, pedro at 6m ish might be worth a gamble » Read

I'm all for promotion and advancement of women's sport and particularly footballhowever, it has a long way to go to, watched some of the recent she believes cup, the passing and technical abilities were by and large appalling, and fitness lacking - that being said it has developed a lot over the last few years and hopefully will continue to do socontrary to the ShePlays statement unfortunately it's not something I can get excited about due to an actual conception rather than alleged misconception, but good luck to them, if we get to the semis or final i'll give it a watch » Read

i agree ref Mane, it was his first season scoring over 160 points, been steady at around 150-160 the last few seasons, scored twice as many goals as his normal return - great season for him but I don't know for sure if he will repeat it, so for me if I had to pick one I would go salah even at 2m more » Read
