Leicester City fan. First match 30th Jan 1960, when we beat Fulham 2-1 in FA Cup 4th round. I saw the ball twice. Now retired, but young enough to have occasional impure thoughts about women. Mostly grannies.

Apparently it would become twice as nerdy - excuse: I'm still half asleep before my cuppa cuts in. » Read

Don't like those ideas at all. FPL Towers have to make the game as interesting as possible to those who might lack staying power otherwise - and that's probably 5 million out of the 6. It would be a bit nerdy otherwise. It would all become a bit nerdy. As for hits - this game is supposed to be fun and people like taking risks with a few juicy hits. » Read

Your sense of humour shines through, but you make a valid point with Kane .... he's playing in a far too withdrawn position for me to start with him next year. (Unless it's proven otherwise) » Read

Both clubs have a massive fan base. You're right, either team would be a good addition. I think that Derby have blown it. » Read

Probably right. The value players will come from Norwich, Sheffield United or Leeds/Villa, depending on who can maintain some kind of momentum in the Premier League. I haven't a clue which one that might be. » Read

Haven't played that for years - totally out of touch with county cricket, although I like to go to the very occasional Test Match. No Test at Trent Bridge this year though. 🙁 » Read

Doubt that they'll remove them - it keeps more people interested for longer. It's just a shame that the inevitable postponements and subsequent DGWs lead to the same chip blitz between GW32 and GW35. » Read

@TM I see that you're online ...... In game week 24 there was some speculation about how low you could be in the final GW24 standings and yet still have a chance of winning the FPL title. I told you that I would do a quick analysis of the top (50) positions at the end of the season and report the results.Of the top 50 managers at the end of GW38:- 3 managers were in the top 10 at the end of GW24 13 managers were in positions from 11 to 100 the end of GW24 21 managers were in positions from 101 to 1000 the end of GW24 12 managers were in positions from 1001 to 10000 the end of GW24 Only 1 manager was outside the top 10000 the end of GW24. He was in position 13899.It is the extraordinary performance of this last team, Jack March’s “Shark Team”, that I will use for my final calculations. Jack scored an amazing 1082 points in the last 14 game weeks, at an average of 77.29 points per week. He went from overall rank 13899 to 9! However, assuming that he would need this 14 game … » Read
