  1. Wesley more likely to boost Villa colleagues than provide FPL value himself 16 hours, 27 mins ago

I think you could be right Nomar. Should do well with key passes and dribbling, wins so many free-kicks too. 6 goals and 7 assists last season sounds bang average, but people forget he was out injured for 3 months, and Steve Bruce was in charge from August - October. » Read

I’m not convinced our play style will change. Abraham was a target man, simple as, and it sounds like Wesley has been bought in to fulfil a similar role. » Read

I imagine they'll continue with their 4-3-3 / 4-1-4-1, with Rice at the base and Fornals / Lanzini ahead of him. » Read

I think Gueye is absolutely key for them defensively, but losing Zouma and to an extent Gomes, is a blow. Despite good fixtures I'll probably be avoiding them. » Read

Also, I see Villa now continuing last seasons trend of lots of crosses into the box. Good news for those eyeing our full-backs, currently El Mohamady and Taylor, but that may well change between now and August. » Read

Abraham did very well for us last season, let's hope Moraes can now step up. 22 years old, 17 goals last season, been described as strong, tall and promising.A Club Brugge fan who watches him week in, week out put some notes up on Twitter last night...- Sometimes he’s a bit clunky. - His hold-up play is fantastic. - Amazing strength. - He’s really fast, despite being 6ft 3. - Still has a lot of potential. - Can lose his temper easily. » Read

  9. Who has the best fixtures at the start of FPL 2019/20? 2 days, 14 hours ago

I'd definitely prefer my players to be involved in the first batch of matches. Not ideal finalising your GW squad, then having to wait a week or so for some of them to play. Unlikely but there could be one or two knocks in training. » Read

I think Mahrez will become an option at some stage next season, but even if Sane leaves, he's still behind Bernardo and Sterling. » Read

It’ll be interesting to see how Wolves cope next season with European football. It feels like they’re in a good position, they don’t need drastic changes, just more depth. Back-up for Doherty and Jimenez is needed, personally think Bennett needs upgrading too and possibly an alternative to Dendoncker? » Read

  12. Who has the best fixtures at the start of FPL 2019/20? 2 days, 15 hours ago

Maybe, but its going to eat up a lot of budget. If City don't sign a new LB, Zinchenko could be preferred to Laporte and be the cheapest route in, I'm also not as keen on Aguero as I usually am, I think Jesus will see a lot more game time next season. » Read

Hard to say right now.I heard Maguire is a top target, but Leicester would surely demand a huge fee.Otamendi looked like he was off a few months ago too but that's all gone a bit quiet. With Kompany leaving could he be persuaded to stay, with the offer of more first team football? » Read

Huge blow I agree, but sometimes giving responsibility and spreading it between others has helped teams - Coutinho leaving Liverpool, Kane's recent injury meant Lucas and Son had to step up etc.I remember watching Chelsea smash Burnley 4-0 last year with no Hazard, they were brilliant, and a front 3 of Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic and Giroud could do really well - time will tell. » Read

The process takes time.Look at Guardiola in his first season at Man City - 3rd in the league, Champions League Round of 16, FA Cup semi-final, League Cup 4th Round...The way I see it is Sarri took over a team who'd finished 5th, playing a back 3 under a far more defensively minded manager in Conte, and delivered Champions League football (finishing behind two of the best teams the PL has ever seen), won the Europa League and played the final of the League Cup.Personally I'd love to see him get another year to see if he can develop it further - looks unlikely tho. » Read

The issue for Willian has been that his best position is on the left, but the same goes for Hazard and Hudson-Odoi, meaning he's often had to adapt himself to the other side. When Sarri has played him in his favoured position, he's actually done very well. Consistently good in the Europa League (he started 10 games on the left, scored 3 and assisted 7) and pretty well in the league - think Newcastle at home, Burnley and Cardiff away etc.Re a top four finish - if Sarri is in charge yes all day long, if its someone else its dependent on who that is. » Read
