Well, I’m Dutch as you should know by now. But yankee mom and English stepdad have lead me to conclude that “rated doubtful” means he’s twisted his knob, but will get electric shocks up his arse if it means that will get him fit for the final match. Luckily the deadline isn’t until Sunday, so we might know more by then.

But I’m not sure dropping Santa for him is such a great idea anyway. Who else have you got on offer for the chop? I nice juicy midfielder perhaps?

Not being an English English speaker, can you tell me what “rated doubtful” means? I assume that is less likely than “uncertain” or “questionable.”

At the risk of turning this into a tributes page, I ditto CK’s note of thanks above.

I’m currently sitting a tantalising 2 points from the lead in my mini-league. But irrespective of whether I am able to steal victory on the last day of the season or not, I have undoubtedly benefitted from your words of wisdom and from the well-informed postings of everyone else.

Thanks CK. Just putting my picks together tonight. Both Drogba and Ronaldo are in of course - tough between them but once again I think it will be Ronaldo for the play safe, Drogba for the gamble.
