I cannot have 12.4 million sat on the bench anymore so Gerrard has to go-

Option A- Gerrard to Lampard. Can do with a free but prob not the best time to do it due to Manu for CH next week.

Option B- Gerrard to Benayoum. Will have a Liverpool player involved in their home game against BIR

Option B- Gerrard to Benayoum, Milner to Lampard, Bridge to Ab Faye (have to do this to free up the money). This will be an 8 point hit.

I am leaning towards B and then bringing in Lampard and Ab Faye next week.

Any thoughts?

Seeing there is 2 Option B’s I agree. Fixture wise B is better than C although Lamps could easily continue his recent scoring form. Wish Arshavin was Lampard in my team. He’s on his last legs in my side, got other areas to fix though.

I see you also have A Cole. His injury seems a bit strange, not too much being said about it.

Have missed out on two CH clean sheets cos of his absence. That is of course in theory, they may not have got them with him playing but u know what i mean

Its pretty annoying either way. I was hamstrung by also having GJ on the bench meaning Ricketts was forced to play unless I took a hit. Should have followed the Captain’s Poll. Either way I still would have lost my H2H.

even though i’ve doubled up on defenders those 5 defenses are the only ones i rate this season and i’ll be playing 3 at the back most weeks. the only problem i have with my team is i wont be able to play 5 in midfield at any point cause those 3 upfront are undroppable in most games. what strategies are you guys using to make the most out of ur defense this season? and is my team strong enough? i like it cause even if i have a couple of players suffering with injury i have good replacements on my bench

So far, we see that defenders score less anyway but CS should go up eventually… I’m on 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 (depending on respective fixtures of my Def/Mids) as my attacking line is Bent-Drogba-RVP. I’m in a similar situation i.e. bench is strong to face injuries etc…

i had Faye Ab on the bench last week with 9,and mears on the bench this week with 9(that’s mears not ridgewell in my team, will be getting ridgewell in for mears as soon as i have no other pending transfers). getting used to it now.

C.Cole is FPL gold imo. will play every game as long as he is fit. he’s the main man at west ham, and the team relies on him totally. at 6.8 million which is the price i got him for he is an absolute steal. can play him in every game and if he gets injured he can be benched easily without taking too much of your funds to the bench with him. he’s gonna be in my team all season i think. cant believe that he’s owned just by 8 percent of players

this is what iwanted to do:
gw 12 : take off barry for reid/ duff
gw 13: take out kuyt for lampard
what do u guys think of this. any other opinions for my team?

btw is saha fit for gw12?

Hey TM, I assume we were fellow Aussie Liverpool supporters but see on your team that you support Everton… So you just like Torres or you dispondant with our performance this yeah and switched to The blues :)

Btw. I took a hit to bring in ade…. Why did I do that? I can only assume it made sense at the time. Anyways who to replace him with?

Torres bc he’s class and I support Liverpool
Rooney bc he’s class and has great fixtures
RVP bc he’s class and Ars scoring a ton of goals

or C.Cole bc he’s gonna start every game and spend money elsewhere???

all good options but i would say c.cole and upgrade elsewhere like your defense good use a man u player (evra/o’shea)
