As a Kuyt owner I think the answer is almost certainly no.
But Having said that he will play and maybe score unlike Bullard.
taylor is like ayoung and gerrard this season, pricey yet no returns…

I think thats sound. You could also get Drobga for Saha and Bullard for Ohara
but It may not be worth 4pts. Arshavin is a good shout particularly if he plays up front. Go with what you like

A.Reid is a simple, clean swap for Bullard if you want to replace Bullard straight away without point hits.
Sure he hasn’t set the world on fire over the last 4 games, but he has had 3 away games and one at home to Arsenal. Expectations cannot have been high.
Sunderland have 4 out of there next 6 games at home. Sunderland at home are a much better side than Sunderland away, and it is reflected in Reids points per game (6.3 at home, 3.2 away). This should spell returns for Reid, who has been a consistent performer this season when the fixtures have suited.
Oh.. and Sunderlands next game? Pompy at home.. potentially instant returns on investment.

I reckon Gerrard is not worth getting until Torres is back. He seems to be regaining fitness and with the addition of Torres causing havoc its only a matter of time until he is brought down in the box by some clumsy defending earning Gerrard some spot kicks

the problem with gettin a player in just for one week is there’s a chance you’ll be stuck with them for a while or you may have to get rid for a hit.. valencia looks a better bet long term so try option 2.. and get gerrard in when he starts firing
what makes sense now out of:
1. carvalho->cashley
2. brown->evra
3. rooney->defoe
4. dunn/reid->valencia
i am currently leaning towards 3 & 4 for this week (free transfers) and 1, 2 over subsequent weeks.

hmm. All of these look good, but 1 and 2 can definitely wait (I’d say do 1 last). I really dont think rooney should be sold though. He scores in patches, and is at the beginning of one of those patches. I dont know how he got no bonus, he was superb. He was instrumental in 2 of the goals, and scored one as well. As much as Id like defoe vs. Wolves, I think Rooney is a keeper

Defoe and Lennon are great, but so is Fabregas, and he is on penalties, and arsenal have good fixtures, and zamora played out of his skin yesterday (even though their fixtures stiffen somewhat now). Also, Zamora can be benched while Lennon and Defoe cannot, so you may have selection headaches some weeks (I try avoid this)

y do people want to get rid of lampard? He missed a penalty and got 0 points. Had he scored, he would have 7, and all this talk of selling would be laughed off. I have faith in Lampard. He is too good a player, playing for too good a team, to not perform exceptionally well over the season.

Hangeland -> A. Cole
I have 2 free transfers this week and am looking at bringing A.Cole in. Swapping out Hangeland seems the most obvious choice but I’m a little reluctant only because I have lost so much value on him and a +0.1 in value would also mean a +0.1 in sale value.
Lampard -> Valencia
The other option I’m looking at is swapping Lampard for Valencia although another tough decision since both teams have decent fixtures.
Advice on other areas would be great too. I am aware I need to get rid of some hull and fulham players due to the missing gameweek. Also need to bring in a GK because of that.

I have Bent but want to downgrade to strengthen midfield. Everyone seems to be talking up Sunderland and Bent. How come?
I guess people talk up bent because who else do you get for the money ? (£8m ) He’s top 4 in points. And is a virtually guaranteed starter. He’s had a bad couple of weeks but he’ll come good again. He thrives n confidence and regular play.
yeah i guess, Isnt Defoe in that range? Sunderland are never gonna pull a Spurs or Man U or Arsenal and have a few big scoring game. so if Bent plays out of his skin he scores one.
i have defenders of evra, alexander, bikey, zayatte and sharner. who should i get rid of to get ivanovic/carvalho/ashleycole? (help me to decide on which chelsea defender to get too). and i am only playing with 3 defenders.
I think zayatte + one of alexander/bikey have got to go= get in a brum defender + a chelsea defender in for them;
If you have money->cole; else ivanovic.
For brum, go for ridgewell.
Your immediate priority should be getting rid of zayatte
i agree. Cole the best bet to get in and out with bikey
if you get A Cole and you play Evra and Cole every week (barring injury of course) and rotate the others i think thats top call. So any of the others. i personally have Bikey and ridgewell

I am gutted guys, was away in leeds this weekend and just got checking my fanatsy score. Lampard, Fabregas and Defoe all missed pens plus i had Drogba as captain who would have got an assist for Lampard’s penalty! such an unlucky week!
Also had the miss fromf ab. And i dropped sorenson for hart so didnt even get the points for saved pen.

How guarenteed is Matty Taylor of starting at the moment? Looking through the Bolton 606 page, in between all the sack Megson posts!, it seems as though many fans are fed up with the form of Taylor, and those who post what they would like the Bolton line-up to be often leave out Taylor.
He’s had a falling out with Megson, but I think he’s still a pretty strong starter. Wouldn’t read too much into the 606 forums.
Am with a bit of a dilemna…. I want to get a Bolton player in.. and am currently looking at Taylor/Ivanovic or Lee/any Chelsea def
He does play regularly though, and I think he is their best midfielder and the best bet to get them goals after davies.
Only think he’s missed that one match, and megson said that the only reason he missed the chelski game was that he was trying to match chelsea’s diamond- something that obviously didn’t work.

why take Arshavin out now, when he finally is showing glimpses that he may hit some serious form, fixtures are very good.
Is a good point…but ideally i dont want 2 arsenal midfielders and i want some chelsea exposure…i think Fab is more reliable at the moment. I’ve always kind of wanted Fab, Gerrard, Lamps as my midfield trio…think they could come good over Christmas!

I have watched West Ham-Man U and was not impressed by Rooney.
The 2 wingers were sollicited a lot (giggs and valencia) so they are probably good punts for the coming weeks.
Anderson was really good.
Second half Man U defence : evra brown Carrick Fletcher and still a clean sheet.
Milner is a season keeper at the price.
