Saturday Surgery Starts Early

Okay then, sadly, because I’m “away from keyboard” this morning and not around to bring our server back to life when it falls over in the Fantasy Premier League deadline crush, I’ve taken the measure to close down comments early today.
Hopefully this is the last weekend when we will be affected by the 11am comment traffic. The new comment system tested well and I’ve scheduled a roll-out of the system by next weekend. Those of you who joined the Beta Test this week will know a little bit about this system and what it involves. We’ve hopefully got some nice features coming your way but best of all, it should be able to cope and manage the rush of comment posts we fetch around deadline times and keep us rolling on a Saturday morning.
To cover for your morning gossip, quips of optimism and cries of anguish – I’ve opened up two Saturday Surgery rooms in our live chatroom.
Comments will be opened once again with the Dugout Discussion post at around 12.30.
