Rooney Returns For Milan Tie
Wayne Rooney is back in the United squad for their Champions League tie with AC Milan on Wednesday. Rooney missed Saturday’s trip to Wolves with a knee problem, aggravated by two matches in a week on the Wembley surface. He was however back in training this morning.
He will now return to the starting eleven for tomorrow night’s tie and crucially for Fantasy Managers, be in the reckoning for the home game with Fulham this weekend. Barring further problems with the knee after Wednesday’s tie, it’s hard to imagine Ferguson going into a potential tough encounter with a confident Fulham side without Rooney leading the attack…
With Cesc Fabregas a possible absentee this weekend, Rooney will therefore add his name to the hat for the Fantasy Premier League captaincy. Right now it seems, Villa’s James Milner, with his double fixture this gameweek, is the crowd favourite. Milner is currently dominating our Captain Poll with Didier Drogba trailing in second. It will be interesting to see if Rooney makes up ground following this latest report on his fitness.

Assist?
Benitez. Who has since been booked.
almunia is sooo rubbish, why the f uck did he punch that???- jeremy beadle could have caught that
not really he’s dead
he cud’n catch feck all wi that little hand – thats nasty!!

The app I use listed Benitez as providing the assist for Jerome’s goal.
…and now Bendtner scores, Big game player, he saw the Burnlet game as practice for the big show, cmon you gunners. Shut up Alan Green you cretin.
Two goal Bendtner. Knew he’d bang them in after the Burnley game, shame it’s a sodding CL match…
Indeed MnL, Indeed.
I bought him in my fantasy champions league team… cash back!
Arshavin + Bendtner = good.
Oh nice good call, Arsh looks excellent again.
Indeed he does, if he keeps it up I will look to invest in him once we’ve got through this double week of doubles.
Was going to buy Arshavin too, but would have benched Evra so… played safe a wee bit.
Snap, took out Fab and Rooney for Arsh and Bender
You are a breathing rebuttal to the phrase ‘you can’t play too many fantasy football games’.
Haha, good fantasy day so far…
Carr rested – check (just need a Pompey goal now)
Bendtner goals – check
Stakes victory looming – cheque please!
I signed up for the AfricanCN FF and my computer got hacked after I had only picked 6 of my players, so needless to say I quit that job.
urgh I went for Fabregas pretender Nasri. Me being too clever.
OMFG
This could be a massacre.
I’ve been more impressed with Arshavin. He’s put both those goals on a plate for NB.
bentdner again!!
LOLOL, legend.
LEGEND!
This is basically exactly what could and should have happened on the weekend, unbelievable jeff.
what a run from the russian
When he wants to play he’s great. But when not he’s like a statue being rolled around the field.
Come on Ladz, Drogba or Bendter for this week. Drogza will need a 4 point hit.
Ive got Bendtner as my captain in CL fantasy, get in. Glad I didnt give it to Ronaldo or Ibra. WOOOOHOOOOOO
What the hell is Andy Gray on about, the Porto player shouldn’t be offside as Campbell touched the ball before he went for the tackle. Is it really too much to ask for these guys to learn the rules?!
Andy Gray = Clown.
cana out for 2 games. jesus i want tevez this week now
arshavin misses a sitter!
Lol Arshavin pulling a Bendtner.
Porto are making the gooners look like Brazil circa 72.
I was at the 4-0 last season, and we looked so much better than we really were. Porto just stood there and watched us play.
rickettts booked glad i went for knight now
beautiful secound gaol by blues. back heel by benitez to jerome to slip it in past james 2-0
bentdner scored 2 sitters and a penalty…everyone getting a bit carried away…….
BBC website. Not your own work, no referencing. Fail.
what u on bout?
They were sitters but, what more do you expect from Bentner? Isn’t that enough? And especially when the game finished 5-0!
