Monday’s Dugout Discussion

Gameweek four concludes tonight with Stoke City entertaining managerless Aston Villa. Whilst Gerard Houllier is in France, trying to free himself from his contract with the French Football Federation, Potters boss Tony Pulis is absent for family reasons, leaving City also without a manager for the game.

The teams are as follows…

Stoke City XI: Sorensen, Huth, Shawcross, Faye, Collins, Wilson, Delap, Whitehead, Etherington, Jones, Walters.

Aston Villa XI: Freidel, L Young, Collins, Dunne, Warnock, Albrighton, Reo-Coker, Petrov, Downing, A Young, Agbonlahor.

So the headlines from those line-ups is that John Carew misses out after picking up a knock on international duty, and Eidur Gudjohnsen does not make his Stoke City debut.

The Dugout Discussion is open, so feel free to join in with chat here.
