Members Paddy Power Cup II – The Grand Final

After nine gruelling stages, Gameweek 33 will see the conclusion of the Members Paddy Power Cup II. We started with over 900 Fantasy managers and we are now down to just two, going head-to-head to scribe their name underneath our former champ, Kippax Kloggers.

Here’s how the Semi-Finals played out…

1The Lord6454mch
2Pablod4545*Fuzzy Dunlop

Despite a Mario Balotelli red card, The Lord breezed past mch to book his place in the final, with Clint Dempsey and Juan Mata doing most of the damage.

In the second Semi-Final, Pablod‘s eight-point hit brought the tie all-square, meaning that Fuzzy Dunlop‘s vastly superior overall rank saw him progress.

The Grand Final

The Lord Vs. Fuzzy Dunlop

3rd Place Play-Off

mch Vs. Pablod

Here’s a reminder of what is at stake…

  • Winner – £150 worth of free bets. £50 Amazon Voucher
  • Runner-up – £75 worth of free bets. £30 Amazon Voucher
  • 3rd Place – £50 worth of free bets. £20 Amazon Voucher

I’m sure you’ll all join me in wishing the four Fantasy managers involved in this final stage the best of luck. May the best man win!

    Can't seem to track down any info on Yaya's injury.

        doing this will allow 10 players in gw 34.
        gw 35 save transfer.
        gw 36 will have 7 doubles with no hits

    Is it worth doing Bale -> Walcott after hearing the news of his injury, would not be for a hit..

    Secondly, what are people doing with Jelavic??

    Choose
    a) bale->walcott

    b) dempsey->walcott

    c) senderos->gibbs with skertel->vermaleen

    d) just senderos->kompany

    e) some mixture of c and d, your personal choices, etc..

      Going with Cisse, based on form, opposition and the fact that Newcastle should be slightly better rested. Plus Pardew wont be as defensive as he was against Swansea.

      Cisse at the moment. Might go for RVP since he is due for goals. 3 games without a single goal is huge drought for RVP standard.

    Verm (IN)
    Skrtel (OUT)

    My only concern is that Koscielny is going to be out for a couple of games and could disrupt the Arsenal back defence.

        Cheers, leaning towards that. Just worried about what he will do if he starts!

    Which defender for next 4 weeks. Kaboul(or other Tottenham defender), Turner, Williamson(or other Newcastle defender). As I see it all of them have 2 home games in the next 4 with Tottenham having slightly better home games, but with extra 1 mil needed to spend on Kaboul.

    To hillbillypeat. re. raylor

    Have you ever watched a real game of football, or just play fantasy? Santon is a million times better than raylor. He is new to english football, and has had a couple of bad games and made a few mistakes, but he will be a great player. Raylor is turd in EVERY aspect, other than dead balls. And he’s not even that good at those. Cabeye is better.

    I am speaking as somebody who has watched ALL of the toon games in the premier league this season, in case you were wondering.

      Now most of our injuries have cleared up, Raylor is back in the position that he was made for. Utility bench man!

      +1
      santon is a more accomplished full/wing back going forward and defending
      raylor is a liability on defence and going forward he isnt that good except when he is in a shooting position
      when he had a run on game at the start of the season jonas had to always drop very deep to help him, that's what kept their defensive record solid at the start of the season (not to mention the heroics of the other taylor)
