We start Gameweek 5 at the Liberty Stadium, as Michael Laudrup’s Swansea host Everton. The Dugout Discussion is open, so come in and follow all the day’s action amongst fellow fantasy football managers. The team news is in and there’s one or two surprises…

Swansea XI: Vorm, Rangel, Tate, Williams, Davies, Ki, de Guzman, Michu, Hernandez, Routledge, Graham.

Everton XI: Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Jagielka, Baines, Osman, Pienaar, Coleman, Fellaini, Mirallas, Anichebe.

Following their defeat at Aston Villa last time out, Nathan Dyer and Leon Britton drop to the bench with Ki Sung Yueng and Pablo Hernandez coming in.

Having scored on Monday night against Newcastle, Victor Anichebe earns a starting berth, replacing the injured Nikica Jelavic.

There’s another five Premier League fixtures to enjoy after Swansea and Everton do battle – so plenty of fantasy points on offer all round. The Dugout Discussion chatroom is the place to see them roll in, which can be accessed right here.

  10. No goal for Puncheon ?? saw in ESPN that he scored ?

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
    1. Given as an OG to Clark

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
      • 2 years, 29 days ago
      1. I hate Villa defenders!

        Had Lowton when Clark scored.
Had Clark when Lowton scored and then he goes and scores an OG.

        • 2 years, 29 days ago
    2. OG should get the assist I think.

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
  11. sorry if this has been done to death i have just finished work, anybody out there who knows the rules please tell me if Peinaar will get the assist for Everton's 2nd goal??

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
      1. i have just finished work last resort a yes or no would have done but thanks for taking the time to find that pic ;)

        • 2 years, 29 days ago
        1. ahh canadian enuf said!

          • 2 years, 29 days ago
  12. 0.1 from doing lambert and hazard to Fellaini and suarez!

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
  13. So who should have the assist for West Brom then?

    Brunt, Long, Ridgewell, Gervinho ;-)

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
  14. Nitin, I'd just like to say sorry for recommending you play Clark...I thought he might get a goal, just not that kind of goal :(

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
    1. :D No problem, mate! I was thinking of fielding him anyway.

Having him and Dyer is irritating!

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
    • 2 years, 29 days ago
    1. Wow wish i had read this post and listened!

milanista can you tell me for definite if the Everton 2nd goal is no assist or Peinaar's please?

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
  15. A) Dyer > Morrison
    B) Dyer > Sterling

I have Michu and only Foster from West Brom. Any ideas guys? Thinking of B since it saves me some $

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
  16. considering to get rid of petric, which one of these will be better: lambert or berbatova or fletcher??

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
    1. Berba

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
    2. I'd say Berbatov. Fletcher a close second but I think Berbatov is a better long term option

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
  17. I forgot to adjust the code for the refresh score link on the uefa council site...It's all working now.

Avg score on the serie a is 25.2

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
  18. I think it might be a little too early to give up on Michu.

Swansea do have Reading and Wigan at home after Stoke. You just know if you take him out now, he'll rip it up in those 2 games.

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
  19. So Baines, Fellaini or Pienaar if you had to choose one? Whats the general consensus?

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
    1. Fellaini for me.

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
    2. I'd say have two of them in your team. Baines and one of Fellaini and Pienaar

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
  20. Ivanovic, Graham -> Baines, Berbatov worth 4 point hit?

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
    1. Yes

      • 2 years, 29 days ago
    2. yes

      • 2 years, 28 days ago
  21. 1st draft of WC.

    Any thoughts fellas?

    Jaas/ Foster
    Baines/ McAuley/ Gibbs (Lowton/ Reid)
    Yaya/ Fellaini/ HBA/ Gervinho
    RVP/ Tevez/ Berbs

Will wait until all games played this week...........cheers.

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
    1. solid

      • 2 years, 28 days ago
  22. I really want to get in Baines. I have nothing in the bank and 1FT transfer so might try and get him over the space of two weeks. Any thoughts how. Also my bench is woeful. I actually thought Noble would be a good signing.

    Howard
    Cole - Hangeland - Gibbs
    Pienaar - Bale - Yaya - Michu
    RVP - Berbatov - Tevez

subs: Fed (inj), Noble, Barnett, McCarthy (isn't playing these days)

I could downgrade Howard, then upgrade Cole.
Downgrade a midfielder (yaya) and upgrade a defender

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
  23. Tevez and Dyer ----> Berbatov and Pienaar?

    • 2 years, 29 days ago
    1. You don't think it's a bit premature to dump Tevez?

      • 2 years, 28 days ago
  24. Does anyone know why Pienaar didn't get an assist for Mirallas goal? Also, why Southampton 3rd goal was considered an own goal and Everton 3rd goal was not? I really don't understand...

    • 2 years, 28 days ago
  25. Should I take a 4 point hit for Hangeland to Baines?

    • 2 years, 28 days ago

“Last year was quite open for me, I was in good positions, but I was quite lucky because I was getting free kicks and some penalties as well.”
