Saturday Surgery – Gameweek 7

Filed under: Matchday Surgery - Posted by: Mark

Cherish this time. Next weekend we’ll be without all this and be faced with squaring up to real life without Fantasy Football as a distraction. With the last international break still in memory, it’s not something I’m generally looking forward too.

Let’s make the most of the final hour or so, then. Get into our Saturday Surgery chatroom and leak your “innermosts” in front of your Fantasy football peers in real-time.

Before you find yourself gripped by the deadline stress, why not take five to take in Andy’s Catch-Up of all the key coverage we served you this week. Pop back here in a bit for another “Pre-match Preamble” and stick around for the Dugout Discussion that kick’s off just before the City game gets our Gameweek moving.

    WC Team

    Vorm (Berg)
Cashley – Rafael – Kompany (Demel, Clyne)
Michu – Hazard – Bale – Sterling (Kacanikilik)
    Tevez – Ba – Torres

Torres transferred next week due to bad fixture.

    Anybody provide any ideas?

I’d captain Lambert, tevez, haz or michu over rvp personally but that’s just me (and I do have rvp) I just think rooney could be the one to come good for its this week, plus I fear he will be back on pens too and although new are missing key defenders they are still fairly tight at the back.

    blind faith says:

ba, rvp, tevez or hazard for captain choice?

I’m leaning to hazard but he’s gone a little quiet and especially would have expected points against qpr and stoke.

      lightspeed says:

      Qpr maybe, stoke….no.

Too many players competing for points in Chelsea’s midfield. Hazard has great potential today but irrespective of he performs he will be leaving my team next Gw.

Despite the fixture I would trust tevez, RVP and ba more for the armband.

    Foster
    Ivanovic(H) – Zabaleta(H) – Baines(A)
    Bale(H)[C] – Hazard (H)[VC] – Michu(H) – Cazorla(A)
    Fletcher(A) – Berbatov(A) – Tevez(H)

    Jaaskelainen Clyne Demel Britton

Really, really need a good score from this lineup.

    China Mag says:

Official toon website team news lists saylor and colo as doubts. Respected fan website http://www.nufc.com has this to say:

“Squad: To follow. Steve Harper will keep goal in the continued absence of Tim Krul, while Rob Elliot’s injury against Bordeaux means that rookie Jak Alnwick is expected to be called up to the bench as cover.

Ryan Taylor and Steven Taylor both remain out, but there’s a chance that Fabricio Coloccini could feature. Danny Simpson completed 90 minutes in midweek and comes into contention for a place against his old side.”

No mention of either being out in the local paper today.

I really think that the premier league website might be jumping the gun.

I’ve narrowed it down to two first to 5 votes wins
