Sunday brings the curtain down on Gameweek 8 with two fixtures, headlined by this afternoon’s Tyne-Wear derby. With three red cards in the last four encounters, this should be a tasty affair, even though Lee Cattermole is out of harm’s way through suspension. Following that, attention turns to Loftus Road, where in-form Everton test the mettle of basement dwellers QPR.

There should be plenty on offer for Fantasy managers with the likes of Demba Ba, Steven Fletcher, Leighton Baines and Steven Pienaar in action, then. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to catch your reaction as the day unfolds.

The team news is in from the Stadium of Light and is as follows:

Mignolet, Gardner, Rose, O’Shea, Cuellar, Colback, Larsson, Johnson, McClean, Sessegnon, Fletcher.

Sunderland are unchanged from their Gameweek 7 loss to City, though Phil Bardsley makes the bench for the first time this term.

Krul; Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Santon; Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez; Ameobi, Ba

Alan Pardew makes four personnel changes from the side that lost to United in Gameweek 7. Tim Krul, Danny Simpson and Fabricio Coloccini all return from injury, while Shola Ameobi replaces the below-par Papiss Cisse up top. Mike Williamson keeps his place at centre-half, with Steven Taylor handed a bench role.

Is it me or does anyone else think Everton were poor that half?
With Felliani missing – their shape looks strange?
