Sunday Dugout Discussion – Gameweek 9

It’s a blockbuster Sunday in the Premier League, as two city rivals and two championship rivals face each other in back-to-back games. The Dugout Discussion opens for our first game, the small matter of the Merseyside Derby…

Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Naismith, Osman, Neville, Mirallas, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Liverpool XI: Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Fernandez Saez, Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez.

David Moyes gets a huge boost in the form of Marouane Fellaini, who has passed fit and starts up front for the Toffee’s. As for Liverpool, they welcome back Pepe Reina but opt to leave him on the bench, meaning Brad Jones keeps his spot. Elsewhere, Jose Enrique gets a rare start courtesy of a Glen Johnson injury picked up midweek.

Before proceedings at Goodison Park conclude, Newcastle United host West Brom, and Southampton welcome the visit of Tottenham Hotspur (both games kick-off at 3p.m). Arguably the biggest game of the day kicks off at 4p.m however, as Manchester United travel to table-toppers Chelsea.

Follow all the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which is open and can be accessed right here.

Hba, cazorla & pienaar > mata, bale, sterling. For a 4pt hit?

I already have Baines and jelavic as Everton coverage so getting rid of pienaar is no big deal.

    ### Objective: Fit RVP in my team. ###

    Jaaskelainen 4.7, Begovic 4.6
    Cole A 6.6, Demel 4.1, Wilson 4.5, Baines 7.5, Clyne 4.0
    Hazard 9.9, Gervinho 7.5, Bale 9.5, Michu 7.0, Duff 6.2
    Defoe 7.7, Fletcher 7.2, Tevez 9.3

0.7 in the bank, 1 FT. Prepared to take my first -4 hit before RVP rises even more.

I was thinking Fletcher out although I bought him recently. Watching Sunderland play have changed my mind about his potential.

I could sell Defoe since he's more expensive and I've got Bale from Spurs. Really like Defoe's form this season though, he's been better than Bale.

Fletcher and Hazard > RVP and 4.4 mid
Defoe and Hazard > RVP and 4.9 mid

Good idea or should I go about biding my time transferring without hits?
