FFS Paddy Power Cup VII – First Round Draw
Filed under: Fantasy Football Scout Cup - Posted by: Paul
In the end, 45 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points or more in Gameweek 10 earned you a place in the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII, with 44 the cut-off point based on rank. The draw for the First Round is listed below, with the likes of Mark and Granville both sailing through the qualifiers.
Although other contributors such as myself, Andy, Akers and Chris Glover failed to advance, plenty of familiar site posters have made the grade, while Scout League leader and overall number one Iyad Zahlan is also staking a claim for silverware.

What do you guys make of this argument to captain Baines over RVP?
RVP is great because he’s very reliable but he isn’t always an auto (c) pick imo. Reason I’m choosing Baines is because Sunderland are in an awful state offensively so RVP would have to score one to equal a clean sheet, of course both events are reasonably likely.
However, if Baines gets attacking returns it means RVP will have to score a brace/have a duo involvement in goals/get all 3 baps + a goal or assist to match Baines' point haul.
Therefore I think the risk factor in choosing Baines isn't very high as he is a solid attacking threat and the rewards from the 'risk' have a good chance of being delivered.- 7 months, 13 days ago

Afternoon all, a question if I may.
Would you rather have:
A) Berba and Valencia (benching Sterling every week)
B) Suarez and Maloney (rotating with Sterling for home fixtures) + 0.9mil
I know the answer looks obvious, but taking into account Fulham's poor upcoming fixtures, and their surplus of strikers vying for a spot AND Suarez's delectable upcoming fixtures I'm really tempted by the latter.
Liverpool/Wigan's rotating home fixtures til Jan look like this:
WBA, WIG, REA, MCY, SOU, QPR, AVL, FUL, eve/stk, qpr/asv- 7 months, 13 days ago

RMT - Would you change anything for GW11?
Foster
Rafa - Cuellar - Cameron
Pienaar - Cazorla - Bale - Mata (VC)
RVP (C) - Ba - Holt
Bench: Jaaskelainen - Nolan - Demel - Bertrand
No free transfer
A) start Bertrand over Cuellar?
B) start Nolan over Holt?

“I am happy with the way I’ve started, but on the other hand, I should have scored four or five more, so that’s something for me to work on.”
