Sunday Dugout Discussion

Sunday delivers two Premier League tussles, with White Hart Lane providing the starting point as Spurs entertain the Swans in the early kick-off. West Ham’s visit to the Hawthorns rounds off the day as the Baggies look to recover from their recent slump which has seen them slip to three consecutive defeats. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to grab your views on the events as the day unfolds and the bird roasts in the oven.

The team news from the Lane finds Gareth Bale absent as expected. His twanged hamstring keeps his sidelined: Clint Dempsey is likely to line up on the left flank, with Emmanuel Adeabayor in tandem with the in-form Jermain Defoe. The Spurs back four has been shuffled again, with Jan Vertonghen shifting alongside William Gallas and Kyle Naughton drafted in at left-back – Steven Caulker drops to the bench where he’s joined by the returning Scott Parker. The visitors recall Ashley Williams to their defence after he missed the midweeek Capital One Cup win through suspension. Angel Rangel is missing, however, he’s ruled out with a calf injury, opening the way for Dwight Tiendalli to earn a first Premier League start. Itay Shechter drops to the bench as Ki Sung-Yueng is drafted in, which means that Michu is back up front.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Jose Enrique + Fellaini -> Nastasic + Bale for -4? Or should I just wait and save the transfer?

Am I the only one around here that is benching the wrong gk every week it seems? Think this is the 4th week in a row where I bench a gk that has a cs + at least 1 defender with a cs as well 🙁 Using the Bego/juss combo + a west ham defender when they are playing at home

demel kind of saved me from an awful week! only had 10 starters (mata, puncheon, rafael and enrique all not playing).. i actually think city will spank RDG so hard next week, i already have silva and cant fit aguero in at all 🙁 so might get shawcross out and get zabaleta in

Can't decide, help me out guys...

2.5m in the bank and 2FT's.

    A) Fellaini > Yaya + Berbs > Torres
    B) Fellaini > Mata + Berbs > Benteke
    C) JUST Fellaini > Mata/Yaya and keep Berbs due to favourable fixtures?

Any idea who the Tottenham defence will be: presume BAE (only Naughton because he wasn't fully fit today? , Vert, Gallas, Walker?

Aguero could be benched in that game.
