Possibly the most un-Christmas-like Christmas Podcast we’ve ever recorded, thanks mainly to Granville being banned from editing in the entire MP3 of Dean Martin’s “Let it Snow” but also because neither of us had time to sort our pressies. To be fair, I’m surprised that Granville felt an ounce Christmas spirit after Santi’s showing at Reading opened up a 40-point “chasm” in our min-league. Do I have it all wrapped up already?

To his credit, my co-host takes it all on his bearded chin, joining me to discuss the Felliani fallout, its impact on the transfer trends in “all aboard”, a preview of the weekend fixtures and provided his assistance in the management of the ScoutCast team: an outfit which plundered no less than 80 points thanks to Santi’s haul and Reading’s bulging net.

Unitie the bow and rip this one open via this link, or stream the merriment via the player below…

      Go for Bale, we’ll know one week before when he’s not going to play. With Mata you’ll never know before you see the lineup. And there is a certain risk that mata will be rotated more than once the next months.

      Bad idea. The City v Reading game won’t automatically bring points hauls for all the City forward players. Cazorla played well and also lucked out in terms of how bad Reading are at defending but there might only be one or 2 City players who benefit on Saturday and there is no telling who that might be so I wouldn’t take hits to get them.

    I’ve already done it so I’m just looking for how much people think I’ve done a stupid thing.

    I did walcott -> yaya
    suarez -> aguero

    for an 8 point hit after getting rid of falaini for mata with my free transfer,

    It now means my attacking half is

    Michu Yaya Mata Silver
    Ba Defoe Aguero

    I’m a sunderland fan and even though we’ve been pretty shocking lately, we took reading for 3 goals. Arsenal did them for 5. I seriously cannot imagine what an on form man city team are going to do to them. It all basically relies on Tevez not turning up and City being on their A game…if that comes off I could seriously score big.
