      Let me do the math…

      Suarez 2 + -1 (YC) = 1 point

      Pod 1 + 1 = 2 points

      Well, that settles it… :)

        :) agree, dont think this will be as high a scoring DGW as the Chelsea one, though i do expect Liv to put a few past Nor….

        Suarez Goal, Assist and 2 BP. 11 pts
        Pod – 2 appearance points and 1 assist + 1 appearance point – 6 pts.

      speaking of Liverpool strikers…..

      Sturridge looks like a good signing, he is skillful and has an eye for goal, but quite greedy! Think this COULD affect Suarez output….

    Current team:

    Jussi (Bego)
    Luiz, Demel, Gibbs (Rafael, Bassong)
    Mata, Walcott (c), Noble, Michu (Punch)
    Ba, Lambert, V. Persie.

    A) Noble —-> Nolan
    B) Noble —-> Cole
    C) Noble —-> Santi and Lambert —-> Pog (-4 pt)
    D) Noble —-> Nolan/Cole and Mata —-> Santi (-4 pt)
    E) Noble –> Santi and Rafael –> Harte (-4 pt)
    F) Noble –> Santi and Ba –> Lukaku (-4 pt)
    G) Other

    Took Suarez out this week for Ba because of the double gameweek. Don’t fancy Ba otherwise until we know what Benitez is going to do with him. Think Podolski’s a decent shout for the next double gameweek? That would give me Demel, Gibbs, Walcott and Podolski. Then I can figure out what to do with that striker spot long term.

        There has to be something in his contract that he’s being taken off around that time every game…I don’t get Arsenal sometimes…why is there no new tactics? Why not keep Pod on longer and see what he can do? If I was a fan and a player that good was taken off repeatedly I’d be raging. You paid money for him so get the most out of him!

      It’s a tough one. Before Saturday I was all set up to go Mata to Santi to give me 3 Ars for the DGW, but Mata/Ba scores made me think Ba to Pod would be a better move, but Pod looking at risk of getting 60 mins. So Sturridge came into the equation because of his goal and his next fixture – but I don’t really like the idea because a) I don’t really rate him – b) short-term fixtures after Norwich aren’t great and c) he doesn’t have a DGW. So back to the drawing board – I’ve got all week…

    Pap Le Cissier says:

    Just been looking thorugh the news pages and found this from the post match interview for Brendan Rodgers

    Brendan Rodgers confessed it will be difficult to field Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and Fabio Borini in the same team, but their versatility will make his cause easier.

    “What we’ve got in those players is that they’re all flexible. Fabio can play through the middle or off the side. We’ve seen Suarez playing central all season, but he’s played off the side during his career, and likewise Daniel,” Brendan Rodgers added.

    “It’s about getting good players onto the field who can fit into the model and the structure. The shape of the team you shouldn’t see so much when you’ve got the ball – it’s more when you haven’t got it.”

      That last paragraph is interesting. Just shows how modern football is now. Laying siege to the opposition goal box when you have the ball with fullbacks assisting on the flanks. The 433 formation is really just for defense.
