The Saturday Surgery

Filed under: Matchday Surgery - Posted by: Mark

Fantasy managers’ final preparations are in full swing, undeterred by the frosty conditions. We’ve just over the hour to go before another Fantasy deadline is upon us and, at present, it seems we’re still clinging to a full Premier League programme like it’s a warm thermos of bovril. Our Saturday Surgery Chatroom is now open to ease you into the final hour, offering a sounding board for your last minute tinkerings.

With no early kick-off, the Dugout Discussion will begin around 2.45 prior to today’s three o’clock fixtures. A thermal-clad pre-match preamble is on the way.

  1. podolski to start for arsenal do we think?

  2. Who to Captain Walcott Or RVP...???

I personally think RVP will score more points in one game then walcott will in two?

    1. With rooney return i don't think so

    2. I don't know if you do.

  3. You'd need RVP to score at least 2 tomorrow.

    1. Reply fail to King Riddle

  4. Need to pick 2 from this 3 to start:

    Fellaini
    Michu
    Tevez

At the min I have Tevez on the bench. What do yas think?

    1. As for me, Fellaini must be definitely in the team. And, of course, with Aguero returning from injury and passed fit to play Tevez may well be left on the bench.

  5. RVP could score 2 and assist no doubt... Walcott could have quiet two games.. Chelsea Away n West Ham???

    1. Yes it could happen. Excellent work, Sherlock.

    2. West Ham away from home are not very good.
That game could be messy if Arsenal get going.

  6. Today is all about Papiss Cisse.

  7. 1) pod or gibbs? i cant see ars keeping any clean sheets though
    2) A: gibbs + nolan + ba
    B: sagna + sterling/berb + augero
    C: rafael/luiz + nolan + podolski

    who will get more points

  8. Repost.

Is it worth doing Ba / Berb to Aguero + 4.9 for a hit? Really want aguero in, have no city coverage and 3 Chelsea. Is Ba gonna play?

  9. Dammit just realised Remy will detroy Demels CS

    1. If QPR come at us (West Ham) today, they'll score.

  10. Everyone will regret it on Sunday... RVP will deffo score more safe.

  11. who to take out.. mata or hazard ??

    1. Hazardious question.

  12. Berba to studge hardly worth a -4?

      1. Thanks for talking me out of it haha. Should I w/c, team is average enough this gw imo
        Fos
        Ivan, Demel, Davies, Sagna
        Mata, Walcott (c), Michu, Fellani,
        Ba Rvp

  13. Odds on Azpilicueta starting tomorrow anyone?

    1. 50-50 between him and Ivan.

      1. Thanks. Can't be doing with that uncertainty so he's sold!

  14. Having serious second thoughts about having Jaask and Demel in my team after replying to a couple of posts.
Forget the DGW, realistically I can't see WHU keeping 1 cleanie, let alone 2.

    1. Yeah one is enough, but if you have transferred Jussi in already play him.

  15. Why is most on here getting Gibbs over Sagna? Sagna's more nailed on no and 0.6 cheaper which allows you to get agueor over suarez?

    1. I'd argue that Sagna is more nailed on too personally. I have him myself.
He gets up as much as Gibbs does but ATM his deliveries into the box are poor.

    2. Sagna is worse than a prostitute from Kazakhstan atm?

      1. It was Gibbs who got burnt the other day against MCY.

        1. Yeah gibbs hasn't been great defensively recently.

      2. what's wrong with kazakhstan prostitutes?

  16. Noble or Nolan?

    1. Nolan for me.
Due a goal or 2 surely.

  17. Final question

    who will get more points:
    A: luiz + nolan + podolski
    B: sagna + sterling + augero

  18. cameron or davies?

    1. Davies

  19. Please, RTM

    Begovic

    Azpi Gibbs Demel

    Mata Walcott (C) Bale Michu

    RvP Berba Suarez

Any changes? Lambert in/Berba out? What do you think? Thx.

  20. is JOB a cer to play two games ?...or very near to

  21. Choose captain please from this team please!

    Begovic

    Baines. Stam. Demel

    Fellaini. Michu. Mata. Cazorla

    Ba. Jelavic. Van Persie

  22. Start Luiz or Cameron?

  23. Lukaku or Cisse??? Last transfer
