Schurrle looks worth a punt.
There is a chance Oscar might get rested, and Hazard won't start IMO (and I have the idiot in my team)

Stats for your interpretation:
Minutes : 468
Shots : 15
On Target : 3
In the Penalty box : 7
In the 6 yard box : 4
Chances Created : 14

He's played about 3/5 the amount of time Oscar has played. In total, has 4 shots less than Oscar. Has the same number of shots in the Penalty box. ( in both 6 yard and wide areas of PB as well)
And has created the same number of chances.

Seems a decent punt if you ask me.

        Indeed Yaya is worth mentioning and Jonty has been banging on about him for ages. He has a wicked free kick and still gets forward from his deeper position.
        
        Fitness is the key here and I think thats the biggest factor favouring Toure. That and the fact that he is more nailed on for every game during the congested Xmas schedule.

        I do honestly think we may be guilty of dismissing Yaya a little too easy this year and if I am being totally honest I probably would be more comfortable with Silva but if he ain't fit I'm ignoring Oscar / Hazzard too boring and getting Silva or Yaya Friday night fit Michu.

  He's the most complete (and arguably best) midfielder in the game imo.
  
  But from a fantasy perspective he won't score as well as Silva simply because he plays significantly behind him. He won't keep on banging 25 yard freekicks all season (or will he....) 😉

    You could actually argue that 25 yard free kicks are one of the most sustainable methods of scoring. He's clearly got the technique down, and he can go completely out of form and just keep getting chances to bang them in regardless.

        Not really. I wouldn't advise people to buy him as I'd rather buy Silva if I had 9.5 to burn. But I already have him and wouldn't contemplate a sideways move to Silva - I can't possibly be more objective than that bearing in mind I'm already an owner.

  I am in the same boat as you, and the only two i can come up with, is either Ramsey (I have him, + he is playing manu) or Silva (I want him, but i dont know if he is fit for the weekend)

      They have rotated so far in the season and they will keep rotating IMO. Ba even started versus Norwich, out of nowhere. He'll play whatever striker he thinks is best for that specific game. Maybe it'll be Eto'o every game, but it's too risky for me with other options not being short in supply.

Idea for the season ticker:

Selecting specific gameweeks and sorting by difficulty. At the moment they have to be in a row - but for example I've got Vorm. So, say I wanted another keeper for this gameweek, gameweek 13, gameweek 17 and gameweek 19 - you would be able to view and sort based on difficulty of those fixtures only.

Ideal for rotations where you just want cover for the real difficult ones.

      For me almost all of them represent a strong case. So for me its about ruling out certain players. I'd rule out Hazard for obvious doubts about his starting place, and I'd rule out Benteke because Villa are in poor form offensively and he doesn't get assists. The remaining candidates are all very good options however.

  You have 3 options if you ask me.
  The best one being Silva. Waiting till Firday's press conference might give you some insight into his potential injury which could make your decision easier.
  
  The other two are Ramsey and Nasri.
  If Silva is injured, Nasri could be a fantastic punt. Have a look at his stats.

    Sounds like a little kick up the backside for him rather than anything heavy. I'd think he would more likely start than be further punished with coming on as a late sub - a case of Jose using a bit of man-management to get the best out of him.
