As always, we cast our eye over the statistics across the previous round of matches to highlight some of the stand-out performers. Chelsea’s change of formation bodes well for their midfield veteran, United’s former Toffee provides chances aplenty, Villa’s misfiring frontman still has reason for optimism, while Liverpool’s young full-back delivers a tenacious display in the Merseyside derby:

Sess and Benteke > Bacuna and Rooney for a -4?
Would leave me:
Oscar/Ramsey/Coutinho/Morrison/Bacuna
Rooney/Aguero/SuarezOpen Controls -
I'm pretty happy with my team for the first time this season, yay.
My only concern is my Vorm / Boruc combo. They both have horrific fixtures this GW and don't rotate particularly well until winter WC time.
So,
(A). Suck up a possible -1 this week from either one, and save 2 Fts for next GW
(B). Get in Szezny, Migs, maybe Krul who rotates well with either (have 1m in bank)
I'm leaning towards saving transfer, many thanks 🙂Open Controls-
Krul!
Open Controls-
Thanks TE, he does look, like he's in top form
Open Controls

Save, midweek gameweek coming up so any knocks/niggles picked up at the weekend won't be risk plus increased chance of rotation.
Open Controls-
Thanks Parm, that's exactly my thinking too.

The suspension tight-rope is off the chain ... about 30 players all waving in the breeze!
Open Controls -
Terry or G.Johnson? Have no Chelsea players but have a Liverpool player in Suarez (incase that effects the choice)
Open Controls-
I think Liverpool looked worryingly open to the counter Vs Everton. It may have been the Derby effect but if I had to chose one I would go with Terry. I own both GJ and Terry btw
Open Controls-
But Johson has gotten BAPS almost every time he has played. Seems similar for Terry. I just tend to believe wingbacks have more attacking return potential. Add to that, Terry has important UCL games to play as Chelsea isn't completely through if I'm correct, whereas Johnson has no external games to worry about.

As Hull and Everton were unable to break down the reinvigorated Palace defence, I don't see a half strength Norwich attack getting any more than a lucky goal at best.
Open Controls-
Gabbidon is the new Demel. The Pulis effect.
Open Controls-
They've looked good of late. I have Ward in several games. Got me a hatful of points in Metro this week.

i know that
anyway i will start Redmond this weekOpen Controls-
If you already have him, he is as good as any Lagan. I misunderstood, thought you meant to get in.

6 of my starting 11 playing on Sunday this weekend ! Delighted I'm off work
Open Controls -
How did Walcott look today? Is everyone still convinced he is starting this weekend?
Open Controls-
Rusty. Hardly convinced tbh.
Open Controls -
I think as Wilshere looks better and better, we are going to have to get used to Arsenal mid-field rotations along with so many others.
Whoever we have, we better have a playing back up.Open Controls -
Thanks for the the info lads, I'll just sit on Ozil for a bit longer then

Hey guys your thoughts on two things. Firstly my team for next week. Bacuna or Sessegnon? I am leaning towards Bacuna tbh.
Krul
Johnson, Collins, Koscielny
Bacuna, Ramsey,Hazard,Coutino
Remy, Giroud,Suarez
Bench is McGregor, Sessegnon,McCauley,Pieters
secondly, is McGregor to Speroni a good transfer next week as a backup keeper as palace have 2 decent home gamesOpen Controls -
Which move is better for the next few games?
1) Dawson --> Koscielny
2) Wilson --> Collins
Other 3 defenders are: Coleman, Clyne, JohnsonOpen Controls-
Dawson > Koscielny ... Collins is playing in a defensive unit shattered by injuries!

Was Ozil on the pitch when Giroud scored the pen on Saturday?
Who's their pen taker now?
Is it Ozil, TW, Giroud in that order?Open Controls-
Open Controls
-
1. Arteta
2. Ozil
3. Giroud
of those who are fit.
Podolski also in the mix when he's playing.Open Controls -
Cheers, dont know why I had TW in there, better go sell him!
Open Controls
-
Giroud played another 90 minutes. I'm doubt why Arsene didn't give Bendtner or any junior striker a chance to offload him a bit.
Migs
Terry - Ward - Clyne - B.Turner - Williams
Lallana - Hazard - Ramsey - Ozil - Ravel
Rooney - Suarez - Aguero
1FT, 0.2 ITB -- What should I do first?
A: Downgrade Ozil -> Walcott or Oscar, so I get fund to upgrade DF later.
B: Change DF for more likeliness of CS now.
B1: Clyne or Williams -> Tomkins .. West Ham have good fixtures, but without Reid
B2: Flanagan .. Not so sure about doubling Liverpool in GK/DF though
B3: Vlaar?Open Controls -
Price Changes.
Up : McAuley.
Down : K.Toure, Schwarzer, Duffy, Sigurdsson, McCarthy & Soldado.Open Controls -
For my draft league team, would it be worth the risk of playing Schurrle for gameweeks 13 & 14 or play it safe by playing Sissoko?
Open Controls-
Hope autosubs kicks in and he doesn't get a cameo. Hopefully he would start the easier one in midweek.
Open Controls
-
-
Need to ship Reid this week.
A. Skrtel
B. Azpilicueta
C. Koscielny
D. Evans
Obviously C is the only nailed on option but fixtures get tough after a couple weeks.
Cheaper options include vlaar, debuchy, Collins etc..Open Controls -
Boruc, Harper
Terry, GJ, Shaw, Rat, Chester
Oscar, Coutinho, Ramsey, Ravel, Janu
Rooney, Suarez, Aguero
2FT, 0 in the bank. Overall I'm pretty happy with my current squad. Long term I'm looking to dump Janu and shore up my defense. Tempted to do Janu -> JWP this week, saving the $ and FT for Walcott down the road.
Any thoughts?Open Controls -
Faye to Baker (vs SUN) worth spending an FT?
If I save, then Williams (mcy) or Burner (ARS) will playOpen Controls -
Lukaku/Suarez/Rooney are my forwards. I have Baines as well. Common sense says swap Baines out for Coleman or Mertasacker or Ivanovic or another top defender. But the "couch test"* says Aguero for Rooney.
*Who am I hiding behind the couch when he plays if I don't have him.
MUN look a bit discombobulated going forward whereas MNC seem camped out around the opponent's box. Bur Rooney has the better schedule through Jan 1.
Thoughts DZ ?Open Controls -
-
No, holding Lukaku long term. I think big midfielders will return and want the available cash.
Open Controls-
Migs, Lewis
Coleman, Clyne, Rosenior, Burner, Rat
Gerrard, Hazard, Ramsey, Ravel, Januzaj
Suarez, Aguero, Rooney
would you then be a supporter of dropping Rooney to Lukaku in order to find a better mid (like Yaya/Silva or Wally) and upgrade the defense?Open Controls-
Could ship Gerrard and get a cheaper MF to fund that defensive upgrade?
Open Controls-
yeah thought about that after I posted (see below). who would you suggest? I wasn't particularly impressed by Sess on Monday (could have just been an off day)
just nowOpen Controls-
Sess (just picked up and yeah, he fluffed some chances, but was in good positions) and Lallana are two of my mid-priced MFs...
Open Controls
-
-
-
No, not in your circumstance. Just a feeling but I think Lukaku will match Rooney over the near term and that's who I have in my side so it means burning transfers to switch. For you - the only reason I would drop Rooney is to upgrade 2 defenders.

need just one person to reply
pick 1 or 2
and pick A or BOpen Controls -
This might sound absurd but could Barkley play in Baines' position?
Open Controls -
Which 3 teams are yet to keep a CS on the road this season?
Open Controls-
City, Man Utd and Newcastle?

This round all teams from the Championship and the EPL are joining in the action so it should be a very exciting roundOpen Controls -
Migs, Lewis
Coleman, Clyne, Rosenior, Burner, Rat
Gerrard, Hazard, Ramsey, Ravel, Januzaj
Suarez, Aguero, Rooney
would you drop Gerrard for a cheaper mid to free up the ability to do Rosenior/Rat -> GJ next week so as to avoid any hits?
if so who would you suggest? I wasn't exactly impressed by Sess on Monday, and against Villa, no lessOpen Controls-
to be fair....Sess was in the right positions and should have scored a brace.
Gerrards fixtures are excellent! Perhaps Gerrard> Coutinho.....would that free up enough cash?Open Controls-
that being said I want to drop for a cheaper mid to service a second def upgrade later
Open Controls

I own both Faye and Chester. Looking to ditch one of them for free.
Both with identical selling price.Open Controls-
Faye if Chester is close.

Oscar......think i am going to drop him. He was on the chopping block for most until last week. I think he could well be rotated for one of the next 2. Cant see him playing both Saturday and then Wednesday.
Rotation is not the only reason why i am considering dropping him. I just do not think he looks to be in form (even though he got a goal and assist last week). Anyone else agree?Open Controls-
People are rushing to get him in and here you are 😎
Don't waste your FT on him unless you are using the funds to get Kun/Suarez.Open Controls -
hey mate, congrats on edging out Newman and progressing to the Third Round Proper of the FFS FA Cup! draw can be found above
and I think i'll keep oscar (i've had him since gw 1) cuz I want to have some chelsea attacking cover and I have more important transfers (getting aguero)Open Controls -
I think it's bizarre that Oscar starts ahead of Mata or Schurrle. Mata is Chelsea's best player and I think Schurrle offers something very different for Chelsea. Chelsea looked terrific this week in a 4-3-3 with Lampard attacking and Oscar and Hazard wide. But Mourinho manages Chelsea and he apparently loves Oscar through the middle. If Mourinho decides to start Mikel and lets Lampard bomb forward then Lampard is the choice. But I also think Hazard is twice the player Oscar is and will score more FF points as well.

I'd say you would want to start Coleman and Rat with their fixtures, then are you comfortable starting Clyne away to Chelsea, Rosenior home to Pool, or Burner home to Arsenal? maybe deal with one of those transfers first if any? The rest kind of picks itself. I'd keep Gerard for the Hull match at least, no?
