The Rate My Team Discussion

With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

Nothing in the bank.

He is aware that at the back he is relying heavily on clean sheets at Newcastle and West Brom. Any advice on improving his back-line would be appreciated. Also, is he right to opt for the expensive Daniel Sturridge? Will a lack of Arsenal cover come back to bite him?

    Hi guys. My first time in the chatroom. I was uncertain if I should upgrade my account for this season since i didn´t use it alot last season. Im in alot of money leagues and would love to get a feedback from you guys on my team! Haven´t been changing it alot but since I started reading your thoughts im thinking about dropping Cesc and punting for Costa instead.

    Nothing in the bank. Im thinking about a 5 mill midfielder - which option would be the best one. Going with Ward-Prowse as it stands.

    Also im not sure if Cameron is starting? I want two Stoke players in my defence - Bego/someone. Ideas?

      Will Dzeko start might be a rotation risk... I'd prefer to have either Rooney or Costa in there somwhere, maybe downgrade Hazard to Fabregas to free up cash.

    Trying to make a balance team out of it and kinda happy with this one...

    Particulary i could switch to 343, 352, 442, 433 or even 451..

    Jutkiewicz Costa Rooney

    I still thinking I could try to downgrade Baines to the likes of another 5.5 mil defender and upgrading Isgrove to Young 5.5 or Siggy or another 6 mil midfielder.. Or i downgrade Baines to Ben Davies at 5 mil and upgrade Henderson to Coutinho/Eriksen/Lamela at 8 mil..

    While at the attacks I think its the best possible combo I could get...

    Any insigt guys??

      Downgrade giroud to jovetic and upgrade lamela to sterling down grade Pieters then you have the choice of jovetic or dzeko

      1st for me the other two are a bit hit and miss at the moment Sanchez will play on wing to start and Fabregas will be deep.

      Posted my team below, and see you got Cameron as well. Is he certain to start instead of Bardsley?

      Rating your team, I think you consider changing Clyne..as I see Southampton struggling early on, and they not going to keep a clean sheet against Liverpool this weekend.
      And Berahino, I see West Brom to struggle ALL season, so would change him.

    Is Cameron or Bardsley starting for Stoke City at right back? Or should I spend the 1.5 extra I have in the bank on Shawcross? Like Stokes early fixtures, see clean sheets.
