The Fantasy Flutter – Gameweek 17

Share:

We’re backing City’s veteran midfielder to deliver in this week’s attempt to get the better of Paddy. With a tenner in hand, we also place our faith in the Hammers’ top scorer at home to Leicester, whilst a move up front bring Liverpool’s young starlet back on the radar.

Our first stop is at the Etihad, then, as the champions prepare for the visit of Palace. Frank Lampard took his tally to four strikes in just 298 minutes with the winner in last week’s victory at Leicester and his eye for goal could be key as Manuel Pellegrini looks to roll out a striker-less system to deal with the injury crisis. With Paddy offering 10/3 on Lampard to score and City to keep a clean sheet against Palace, we’re more than willing to take a punt and part with £3 for this one.

Up next, we move to Upton Park as West Ham prepare for the visit of Leicester. Diafra Sakho has scored in four of his five home appearances in the league and, with five wins and a draw in the last six in front of their own fans, Big Sam’s side look likely victors here. Paddy are prepared to offer 12/1 on Sakho to score two or more and the Hammers to register a clean sheet and we’re making this our bet of the week, with a further £4 shelled out.

Finally, we switch to Anfield as Liverpool and Arsenal go head-to-head. Shifted into a central role up front in each of the last two matches, Raheem Sterling posed United plenty of problems in the final third before bagging a brace at Bournemouth on Wednesday evening. The youngster’s confidence will be on the up for this one and with odds of 11/1 on a Sterling goal and Liverpool clean sheet, our final £3 goes Paddy’s way.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

So I've been toying with Dzeko to RVP.

Need a downgrade and hit to bring him in. Looking like being at the expense of Chambers. Was advised against Baines > Zaba

    1) Do you agree and 2) Chambers > Bartley or Steven Taylor?

Alright lads, some great posters on atm.

How's it look for this week?

    Foster
    Baines, Caulker, Naylor
    Yaya, Alexis, Hazard, Siggy
    RVP(c), Carroll(vc), Austin

    Subs: xx Clyne, Boyd, Moore

Only thing I'm questioning is Clyne vs Naylor to start. Leaning Naylor because of Saints injuries.

Morning guys, or evening depending in where you are. I'm not on later since I'm on the road. How's this looking for today? I think I've found how I'm bringing in RVP in next week if he continues form.

Still struggling on captain for today. I slept on it, but still in between Sanchez, Costa and Austin. I'm on Austin at the moment. Thoughts?

    Hart
    Azpilicueta Baines Wisdom
    Sanchez Hazard Downing Siggy
    Costa Bony Austin

    Subs: Pantilimon Dummett Boyd Hutton

Good luck today to everyone. Make sure you're too 2 million for the FPL cup 😉

Whats the point, last year i went out in the first round to a ghost ship that had an injured rvp captain default to coleman ~15 pts x2 as VC

Few gutsy calls here: good to go or twist?

    ----------------------------De Gea
    ---------------Baines | Zabaleta | Davies
    Hazard (C) | Sanchez | Yaya Toure | Eriksen | Downing
    -------------------------Kane | Lukaku
