Deulofeu what a talent. was on fire last night with , a fine solo goal and a triple step over assist.

I've had Barkley for a couple of weeks but now but I'm not sure he will maintain his form and can see Deulofeu outscoring him over the next few. I'm tempted to swap him for Deulofeu if I have no other pressing changes to make next with with my FT

Barkley has killed me in ML's. Went Deulo when Payet got crocked. All he's got me FPL wise is an assist after Everton have scored 7 goals in 2 games.

Reminds me of a young Ronaldo at Man U. Lots of step-overs & not a great deal of output but Ronnie didn't do too bad in the long run. I got him after they'd scored 6 & still waiting for that big haul that he looks like he has in him.Heres hoping.

    Smalling, Rojo, Moreno, Bellerin, Oxford
    Ozil, Mahrez, Coutinho, Barkley, KDB
    Ighalo, Kane, Lukaku

I'm currently thinking of playing my AOA chip this week and benching Ruddy, Rojo, Moreno & Oxford

Mahrez not as good vs the top teams - there was a recent article about him and Vardy and the conclusion was that whilst Vardy is relatively fixture proof Mahrez struggles up against good opponents.
I have a feeling he'll have a good week vs Swansea and then I'm probably going to ditch him for his terrible run from GW16 - 19

    My current team

    Hennessey de Gea
    Moreno Kolarov Huth Bellerín Baker
Deulofeu De Bruyne Özil Mané Mahrez
    Ighalo Vardy Agüero

Random question - do I take a -4 hit to remove baker for van dijk and play bench boost??

    1. ANON.
      • 10 Years
      8 years, 4 months ago

No. wait to play bench boost especially if you're going to take a -4 to get a good enough team. ALso your defence will then be too expensive and it'll cost more hits later to get your team back in shape

My team is getting a bit out of shape. Thinking about the following -8. Should I go ahead with it if Coutinho and Moreno come through tonights game ok? Would leave me 0.6 in the bank and struggling to do Vardy to Kane for next week (may need a -4 or -8) although not sure I want to anwyay.

Sanchez, Ayew, Dawson ---> KDB, Coutinho, Moreno

    Schmeichel,
    Kolarov, Azpi, Moreno
    KDB, Ozil, Coutinho, Mahrez
    Aguero, Lukaku, Vardy

    Butland, Richards, Souare, Surman

Do I need to wildcard? (Since we have to use it by GW20 anyway)
    Defence is in a mess.

    **Begovic - **McCarthy(Crys)

    Kolarov - Rose - Ake - **PhilJones(inj) - **S.Taylor(inj)

    Ozil - DeBruyne - Coutinho - Mahrez - DarrenFletcher

    Kane - Lukaku - Vardy

I just did Coutinho -> Sanchez.
I could be without a goalkeeper if Courtois comes straight into Chelsea XI.
McCarthy, PhilJones and S.Taylor are not starting.

Can WC any time during the season - it doesn't need to be by GW20

I wouldn't at the moment. Good front line, same can be said about your midfield assuming you play 343 and a couple of weeks or a couple of hits can fix the defence.

How well can Aguero diagnose himself?

Myself and 1 other last night and Tim on the previous page have pointed out remembering that Aguero has self diagnosed on Twitter before to say he's fine only to miss the next match. I went digging.....

Here is Aguero Tweeting on 3rd May, 2014, that he was only taken off as a pre-caution:

    https://twitter.com/aguerosergiokun/status/462687967031484417

Here is a picture taken from transfermarkt.ie which shows he did come off after 28 minutes that day (3rd May). Check what happened after he said it was just a precaution.....

I wouldn't count on him this weekend. They don't need him.

In fact, Bony may be a better matchup vs Shawcross and Stoke in general.

Pelle doesn't mind playing Kalechi either who scored and looked sharp yesterday with his runs

Delph has been playing well and will retain that role alongside Fernandinho.

      Most importantly, Silva is back.

He won't get risked in my opinion.

It's the usual FFS wishful thinking analysis at play here, whoever comments on it.

Pellegrini says he's hopeful that he'll play - So Aguero owners can be hopeful that he'll play, and that's about all there is to it.

I actually hope he does play....but does nothing 😉 Many who have him will captain him.

However, he scored a brace against Stoke last year away so as ever I remain fearful of Aguero as a non owner.

I've been making transfers with a view of bringing him in for the Sunderland game, it gives me time to see if he's fit and in form while fixing the rest of my team without hits (Sanchez to Deulofeu this week, Bertrand to Moreno next, and finally Vardy to Aguero the week after once Leceister's fixtures turn worse).

which leads me to my next question; why the Hazard punt?

Last season I transferred in Benteke for the christmas period, his fixtures were brilliant, leading up to those fixtures Villa weren't playing well and Benteke's form wasn't good. However, i brought him in with the hope that he is a proven goal scorer, who knows how to find the back of the net, score a few goals and pick up form.

Well, he didn't score a single goal.

This, stops me from bringing in Hazard, who struggling to find any form, let alone goals.

Easiest way to see it: you bought at an odd number.

Every rise/fall to an odd number = gain/lose value.
Every fall to an even number = no change.

Thats 1.2 profit on player, so you get half of that, which is 0.6m. 6.3 plus 0.6 equals 6.9m.
In short you can say, for every 0.2 rise, you get 0.1

          Purchase price is 6.3
          Current price is 7.5

          Difference is 1.2 (7.5 - 6.3)

Profit is 0.6 which is half the difference between PP and SP (1.2 / 2)

Selling price 6.9 which is purchase price plus profit (6.3 + 0.6)

You gain 0.1 in sell value for every 0.2 rise in market value. Simples.

For every 0.2 buy value increase, you get 0.1 sell value increase.
This is rounded down, so 0.3 buy value increase is 0.1 sell value increase.

Ie you buy Sanchez at 11.0.
      BV 11.5 SV 11.2
      BV 11.4 SV 11.2
      BV 11.3 SV 11.1
      BV 11.2 SV 11.1
      BV 11.1 SV 11.0
      BV 11.0 SV 11.0

Every time your player rises 0.2 you make 0.1 when you sell him. In other words you get half the increase.

Eg you buy player for 5.0, sell for 5.4, you've made 0.2.

You buy a player for 5.0, sell for 5.5, you still get 0.2 profit because he'd need to be sold for 5.6 to make 0.3

Does that help? It's probably not the easiest way to explain it.

If you buy for an odd number, you make profit every time they reach another odd number. If you bought at even, it's for even.

    COMMUNITY PICKS HELP

Hi everyone, I won the lottery so I'm Community Pick Champion for this week! I think I have a pretty good team worked out but I would really appreciate your help and advice.

    Stekelenburg
    Alderweireld, van Dijk, Moreno
    Özil, Willian, Mahrez, Bolasie, Barkley
    Kane, Vardy, Lukaku

    £0.0m ITB

    My main concerns are that:
I have no Liverpool (New) or Southampton (AVL) forwards or midfielders.
I have no Watford (NOR) or Man City (Sto) players.
Willian may be forced to play more defensively against Bournemouth now that Ivanovic is back.
Mahrez has been less prolific in recent weeks - is he still on penalties?

Some players I'm currently considering (Mané, Bertrand; Ighalo, Nyom; Giroud, Walcott; KdB; A.Ayew; Azpilicueta, Zouma).

You need differentials to beat them by 16 points margin. Get Giroud,Costa Deeney Silva etc.

If Sturridge is on the bench today, start him in your team. My thinking is to win the voucher, you need as much of an upside as possible which is why you need gambles. Willian, Ozil, Mahrez and Vardy both. I'm not exactly liking it.

Scouts pick very template right? And you need to beat them by 16 to get into the lead. So you have to go more non-template to win. Kane > Deeney, Barkley > Coutinho, Toby > Zouma Willian > Mane etc

    8. RubeRx

Team is very standard. Dare I say template.

You should include a 2-3 differentials minimum if you want an actual shot at beating them by a significant margin (to win the prize)

Don't like the Leicester double up. Swansea is a great matchup defensively for Leicester.

Bolasie was so last week, look elsewhere.

Barkley? I think Lukaku will suffice.

Include one of Giroud/Walcott if we hear that he is fit later this week.

Consider Pelle as well. I have a feeling he will be nice and rested and ready to play this weekend.

      Cedric over VVD too.

I'd ditch Bolasie, Barkley and Willian. See tight games in CPL-EVE and in CHE-BOU. Chelsea will start at the back as they slowlycome back, 1-0 wins to begin with, imo. Lukaku is good enough.

I'd even ditch Ozil for Mane/Coutinho. Sunderland are going to be parking their biggest bus, and there's no Alexis or Cazorla.

Then upgrade Willian to Coutinho. If you need more cash downgrade VVD to a Watford defender, top value for this week.

    Mahrez Bolasie KDB Ozil
    Kane Vardy Lukaku

Bench (McCarthy, Sanchez, Wollscheid & Martin)

    0.00 ITB & already on -4

A> Would you already get rid of Sanchez or wait for further updates?
B> Sanchez > Coutinho (Still not passed fit)?
