In the opening match of Sunday’s double-header, Everton host Swansea City at Goodison Park. The Toffees have failed to taste victory across their previous four home match-ups, while the Swans are one of two teams that have posted just a solitary win on their travels.

Although Everton tallied seven goals over the last four Gameweeks, they ranked seventh-bottom for attempts (43) and fourth-bottom for shots on target (12). Of greater concern for Roberto Martinez is the fact that his men charted joint-top for goals conceded (eight), fourth for shots inside the box conceded (34), joint-fourth for big chances conceded (six) and joint-second for shots outside the box conceded (30), exposing their vulnerability at the back.

Swansea, meanwhile, have registered the joint-second-fewest attempts (34), second-fewest shots inside the box (34) and second-fewest big chances (two) since Gameweek 19. Furthermore, only Newcastle United have managed fewer goals away from home (five) than the Welsh outfit (eight), which bodes well for Everton’s shut-out prospects. On the defensive front, Swansea have conceded in all but one of their two road fixtures this term.

The reason Silva, KDB, Mata, Hazard, Messi are so good is because they dont expect too much from their teammates, and play to their teammates strengths rather than their own.

The reason CR7 is so good us because he doesnt expect too much from his teammates and just plays on his own.

Deloufeu trys to play to his own strengths in a team that isnt good enough for him, this doesnt make him a good player. It means he'll never progress as he doesnt understand the game.

CR7 expects everyone in the team to serve him and pass to him in the box rather than shoot themselves. It's embarrassing to watch when he's remonstrating with a teammate for daring to shoot themselves rather than pass to the emperor. Hate him!

can someone explain what "effective ownership" means, when it says like 115% ownership, sorry for sounding silly but how can you have over 100% ownership?

    1. Old Man
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

      e.g. 75% owned 40% captain

    2. BabyB
      • 12 Years
      10 years, 5 months ago

because captaincy is in effect that player playing twice.

If everyone owns a player that is 100% ownership. If half captain him, then that would be 150% ownership.
